Chapter 21

KALEN POV

I woke up to my side grabbing Naomi but I quickly took my arm from around her noticing it was not Naomi.

"Ocean get the fuck out I'm not playing" I said laughing no even believing this was happening.

"Chilll, it's not like we did anything I was just being a family" she said biting her lip.

"We aren't a damn family Ocean, you seriously need help like I'm concerned for you" I said getting out of the bed and heard shuffling coming from amaris room.

"Why you didn't tell me you was coming" I said looking at Naomi.

"I didn't wanna bother you and your new boo" she said shaking her head.

"She's not my boo you" i said coming up behind her as she pushed me back.

"You sure as hell ain't acting like it but hey it is what it" she said shrugging.

"Man , where you living at?" I said being nosy.

"Nun of your business, just know me and mine is good" she said making me suck my teeth.

"Ight cool" I said walking out as she followed behind me with all of amaris stuff.

"Damn who says you won't be back" I said looking at all the garbage bags she had.

"I won't" she said laughing,

"Want some breakfast" I heard Ocean say referring to Naomi.

"I want you to actually kill yourself next time" she said catching me off guard.

"Ouch that hurt sooo bad" Ocean said going in the freezer pulling out some waffles as Naomi went to the car and came back going into our room as I followed after her.

"Stop being like this Naomi..." I said kissing on her neck.

"You're trying to take advantage of me right now and I really don't appreciate that right now, if you really loved me you would let me be for a while ok?" She said grabbing her clothes and bags.

"But it's not my fault" I said turning her around to face me.

"You don't listen Kalen plus it is your fault you moved her in and she stole my shit and disrespected me , she could've hurt Mari then what? I would've killed you she's all I have left in this world" she said starting to tear up.

"You have me" I said.

"Do I really though? Ocean has you more than me, by the way get that bitch some real mental help her childhood must've been some shit, anyways goodbye" she said laughing out the door,

"Want some waffles?" Ocean said smiling at me as I went to the room locking the door.

OCEAN POV
*flashback*

I sat there playing with my dolls as my dad ran after my mom.

"Where have you been Maxine?" She said calling her by my moms name.

"Why are you being so crazy? I wasn't doing anything I'm loyal to you now move" she said trying to get by but my dad grabbed her wrist tightly as he closed the door and I heard her scream.

I ran to the door.

"Daddy stop hurting mommy" I said banging on the door.

"It's ok baby go to bed" I heard my mom yell.

"Daddy!!" I screamed even louder until her opened the door.

"Come in here Ocean, you see this is what happens when your mommy lies and she cheats" he said as I watched my mom be beaten by my dad repeatedly.
