Chapter 9

KALEN POV

I sat on the bed of some girl named Avery as she came from behind me and massages my shoulders.

Honestly I was numb right now , I hadn't been home indays and Ocean still wasn't texting me back.

"You ok?" Avery asked looking at me.

I didn't even respond to her I just looked straightforward.

She leaned on me as I still stayed stiff.

I couldn't have ocean so I had Avery but it still wasn't enough.

OCEAN POV

"You're right this was fun thanks for convincing me y'all" I said sitting on the couch of the guy who's kickback this was.

"You're welcome sis!" Brooke said as body by Megan came on causing her to twerk.

"Ayeee throw that shit back on me" I said as Brooke came to where I was sitting and started twerking on me as I caught it.

"Ayeeee purrrr" I said hyping her up.

Her shit was really moving.

By now I had forgot all about me being pregnant like it wasn't even a thing in my brain.

I was just having fun and enjoying my time away.

"I'm getting tired" tori said as I shook my head agreeing.

"Yeah me too, let's go" I grabbed Brooke as we made our way to toris car.

I laid on brookes soldier tired as fuck as I felt the car start moving.

Brent played lowly in the Background as I just vibed enjoying the night.

First we dropped Brooke off and then we went back home.

I went to my room and plopped on the bed as tori came in and threw something at me.

"Girl what the-" I said picking up the box noticing it was a pregnancy test.

"I know you probably forgot and don't get mad at me but it's better to know now then wait..." she said.

I was mad as fuck at her but I couldn't really argue with that.

"Yeah you're right... let me take it and I'll tell you what it says" I told her as she walked out and closed the door.

I went to the bathroom and peed on the stick as I slid down the bathroom wall and waited for a few.

When I got up I noticed the test read not pregnant as I jumped up and down.

"Yes Jesus thank you so much I'll never have sex again" I said as I ran into toris room.

"Ayeee guess who ain't pregnant" I said jumping on tori.

"Girl get off meeee" she said laughing.

"Thanks for real tori you're a real one" I said hugging her.

"You're welcome , now get off me you smell like ass" she said as we busted out laughing

I wanted to see how my people were doing back home so I turned on my phone as my messages and call log starting blowing up and dinging.

"Damn..." I said immediately going to Kalens text messages.

"Let me call his ass" I said as I heard the phone ring a few times before he picked up.

"You ok kalen? What's wrong" I said genuinely worried about him.

"Man I need you right now , my moms died Ocean I need you" he said crying into the phone making my heart break.

"I'm in florida kalen I'm so sorry that happened to you kalen I'm sorry for everything" I said.

"What are you even doing in florida" he asked .

" I just needed some time kalen, just FaceTime me and we can fall asleep on the phone ok? I love you-" I said automatically covering my mouth noticing what I just said.

He was just quiet on the other end.

"That was an accident don't say it back" I said quickly as I hung up and called him back on FaceTime.

"Lemme see your face" I laughed as he put his face in the camera smiling.

"Get you some
Sleep you look like you haven't slept in forever" I said staring into his eyes.

"I haven't" he said blankly.

"It's ok I'm not going to hang up just pretend I'm there I promise I'm not leaving you" I said reassuring him.

He just nodded his head and I fell asleep watching him fall asleep
