I laid in bed just staring up at the ceiling. It was around 4 am and I had been up all night trying to get in contact with Naomi. She should be the one apologizing cause she made me choose between my daughter which she knows the answer to.
But then again I haven't been the best boyfriend to her.
"Kalenn" I heard ocean say with a hint of pain in her voice as I sat up.
"What is it ocean" I said not wanting to get up to open the door.
"My water broke hurry up" she said making me sprint.
I put on some sweatpants and a random jacket and grabbed my slides as I went in her room and grabbed her baby bag helping her to the car.
"Hurry it hurts so bad" she said crying as I rushed to the hospital.
I finally pulled up and I opened her car door getting her inside first.
"Her water broke" I said to the nurse in the front office as she gave her a wheelchair and rushed her to the elevator.
I went back to the car to get her bag and stuff and went back on the elevator myself anxious to get off.
I cant believe my daughter was finally going to be here.
I smiled to myself as I came on the pregnancy floor.
"Hi, do you know where ocean Williams is ?" I asked as she looked some stuff up on the computer smacking her gum.
"Yes sir, room 25 just down the hall , congrats" she said as I nodded and rushed in the room seeing Ocean propped up and sweating as I rushed over to her .
"It hurts Kalen" she said holding her head back.
"It's ok" I said grabbing her hand.
"I'm about to shit on myself" she said making me hold my mouth open.
"You are not about to do that in front of me" I said shaking my head.
"That's perfectly normal ocean that's a good sign the baby is about to come out" she said getting the doctor as she came in with gloves on.
"Hey ocean , hey dad , you feeling like you have to push?" She said sitting in front of ocean.
"Yes" she said crying.
"Ok go ahead push"
She squeezed my hand hard making it turn red.
One last squeeze and I heard tiny cry's coming and I saw my baby girl going to get wiped down.
I let go of oceans hand gently getting her from the nurse as she moved around some,her eyes still closed.
"Youre so gorgeous"I said rubbing her hands as she smiled a little.
"Let me see her" ocean said as I got up and gave her to ocean.
She held her looking in my arms as I looked down at my phone seeing an incoming call from Naomi.
"I'll be right back" I told ocean as she looked up at me.
"If that's Naomi don't bother coming back" she said as I walked out ignoring her.
"Hey"I said into the phone.
"Hey...can we talk" she said.
"Well I'm at the hospital my daughter was just born so, tomorrow maybe" I said.
"Oh wow , congrats ... is she healthy" she said.
"Yeah she's gorgeous, hey look imma go check on her I'll call you later?"
"Yeah that'll be good, bye" and with that she hung up.
I sighed before coming back in the room seeing ocean walking around holding her.
"Aint you supposed to be in bed" I asked sitting down.
"Aint you supposed to be with your daughter and not on the phone with some other female" she said.
"Whatever ocean this is a happy day for me don't ruin it, what we naming her?" I asked.
"Her name is going to be Amoré Rose" she said making me smile.
"That's a pretty name" I said.
"Yeah I know" she said sitting back down.
"Do you want me to stay overnight" I asked.
"If you want , I'm sure Amoré would want you to" she said.
"Alright I'll stay, you hungry?" I asked.
"Nah" she said turning the tv on.
I got up grabbing Amoré as I rocked her in my arms just staring at her.
