I laid in bed with tear stains all over my white pillow case.
I turned my phone over seeing Calvin blowing my phone up. I also had messages from my half sister bri and my bestfriend Kaia. We rarely talked since she moved states last year but it's a here and there type of thing.
I got up as I went to the bathroom to do hygiene.
When I came out I plopped on my bed. Something in me wanted to text kalen and ask if he wanted to hang out.
After all... I did kinda ditch the nigga when we were supposed to be doing our project.

KALEN POV
Me and my family were doing Bible study in the living room as my phone started dinging.
I grabbed it trying not to be seen as I saw a random number texting me.
Me: who is this 2223334567- It's ocean , tryna hang out today ? me: where would we go? 2223334567- we can go to the mall , bring Mia if you want see y'all there !
This whole thing caused me to smile, I was not bringing Mia cause she was just going to fuck shit up.
"What are you smiling at?" My mom asked as she looked up at me.
"Oh , this is a really good verse" I said looking down at my Bible.
"Mm , gimme your phone" she said as I took my phone out of my sweatpants pocket and handed it to her.
I knew she was obviously going to look through it and I wouldn't be able to go.
30 minutes later...
My mom came into the room as I sat on my bed , laying down.
"You're not going with that chick , I've heard about her and it's not happening" she said causing me to sit up.
"But-but" I said lost of words.
"But nothing" she said tossing my phone back on the bed.
"You never restrict mia from going anywhere why is it different with me ?" I snapped sitting up.
"Don't back talk me kalen" she said getting up in my face
"Man back the fuck up" I said covering my mouth as soon as I realized what I said.
"What did you just say to me kalen ?!?, that's it give me your fucking phone I'm done" she said snatching it out my hand and slamming the door.
Little does she know I was going to sneak out.
OCEAN POV
I started getting dressed deciding I sorta wanted to be cute today.
I mean kalen was probably going to dress up so why not me too?
I decided on an all black outfit with a green bandana coat.

I texted Kalen to make sure he was still on board but I didn't even get a text.
So I texted mia and she let me Know what was up. I was still going to go cause she said he might sneak out.
KALEN POV
I got dressed as I grabbed my backup phone and opened the window , jumping off the balcony.
Mia was going to cover me.
Me: hey I'm coming ocean: yay ok
When I got to the mall I saw Ocean sitting on a bench in front of DTLR.
"Hey" I said catching her off guard.
"Hey kalen" she said standing up giving me a hug.
I hugged her back awkwardly .
"Kalen loosen up some" she said laughing.
I laughed as we went to the food court and stood in line for Chick-fil-A.
All of a sudden she grabbed my hand causing me to look at her.
"Just go with it" she said looking straight forward.
That's when I noticed Calvin and immediately let her hand go.
"Yooo, Ocean what the fuck you doing here with a fag" he said as I stood back some.
Ocean just ignored him causing me to smile.
"What the fuck you smiling at clown ass nigga , she was just at my house sucking my dick" he said laughing as I shrugged.
"Bruh leave us the fuck alone" ocean spat out as we moved in the line.
"You such a hoe ocean you probably burning , aye nigga watch out cause she gon give you HIV" he laughed walking away.
"Fuck you bitch" ocean said as I saw some tears drop from her eyes.
I grabbed her hand back as she smiled at me.

"This bitch really think she leaving me for that nigga nawww that ain't how that's gon go down" I said pissed asf as I vented to some random bitch.
"Why you so worried about her ? She obviously not worried about you." She said as I looked at her sucking my teeth.
"Bitch just suck my dick and shutup" I said pulling out my phone as she got on her knees.
Me: ocean baby please I'm sorry Me: text me back bitch for I pull up on you stop playing. Me:ight bet.
"Get up off me shawd" I said standing up as I grabbed my jacket.
"Where you going?" She asked.
"Don't worry about it , get your shit and go" I said walking to my car.
10 MINUTES LATER
I pulled up to Ocean apartment as I got up and banged on her door. I knew her dad wasn't home cause his car wasn't in the lot.
"Ocean I know you home open the door baby" I said , high asab.
She opened the door as she grabbed me and I hugged her , holding onto her.
Truth is, I really loved this girl I'm just a shitty fucked up person.
"I'm sorry I love you ocean" I said as she cried in my arms.
"Stop treating me like this" she managed to spit out.
I just rubbed her head knowing I probably wouldn't stop.
After a while she grabbed my hand and led me to her room.
