Chapter 13

OCEAN POV

That night when I left the hotel I ended up texting Calvin. Now we're back together. I'm now 18 and a freshmen in college and Calvin is a sophomore.

I moved in with him because my dad ended up kicking me out to make room for his girlfriend and my sister , yes I said sister.

He actually made a baby with her young ass. He's probably going to give that baby the world while I got the bare minimum.

I haven't texted Kalen in some time so I just home he's doing ok. I know this is selfish but I hope he's not dating anyone because I feel like I was his one true girlfriend. One day we will get back to that.

KALEN POV

"Hey mamas" I said tickling my girlfriends daughter as she squirmed around.

Now without Ocean I was doing better than ever.

Remember that girl Naomi from the strip club? Apparently she was just there on a business trip and she actually lived in Miami.

Naomi really was the nicest girl ever and she was good for me , something to balance me out.

We've been dating for around 8 months now and it's safe to say I see myself with her for the rest of my life.

Plus I met her daughter so.

I didn't even end up going to college like my original plans. Now I was all about the money and education was pretty much useless anyways.

"Hey" Naomi said walking in with a whole bunch of bags in her hands.

"Where you been at" I said standing up grabbing her as I pulled her on top of me.

"Shopping , look at all this shit I got" she said smiling.

"You should model for me" I said.

"Nigga my daughter is right there" she said laughing.

"So, cover your eyes lil bro" I said grabbing her making her hit me.

"You gon have to see me about that" she said running out as Naomi busted out laughing.

"I'm going to a party tonight for my bro, you tryna go with me?" I asked rubbing on her ass.

"Yeah I'll go I wanna get out , I'll ask my mom to watch Amari" she said looking in my eyes.

"What?" I asked.

"Nothing I'm just happy, I've been through so much and I finally found a guy who takes care of me and treats me right , I love you" she said kissing me.

"I love you too, now go get ready" I said as she walked away.

OCEAN POV

"Ocean , you tryna go out with me tonight?" Calvin asked as I laid down.

"Where?" I asked.

"This party my bro invited me to, it's gon be fun and it's not like one of those highschool parties it's grown folks"

"Alright we can go, where is it?"

"It's in Miami so it's a little bit of a drive but we can make it if you get ready now" he said as I got up.

"Ok let me get dressed " I said smiling.

NAOMI POV

I finished moisturizing myself as I searched my closet for something to wear.

It probably wasn't a fancy party but wherever I went I made a statement.

I zipped up my shoes as Kalen walked in making me smile.
