Not talking

Just being

He leans down

Walking through the woods
Hand in hand
He whispers in my ear

Walking through the woods
Hand in hand
"I love you."

Walking through the woods
Hand in hand
Perfectly content

Walking through the woods
Hand in hand
Wordless

Walking through the woods
Hand in hand
Swallowed by leaves

Walking through the woods
Hand in hand
But no—

I am alone
In the woods
Only dreaming
