Do you ever feel powerless?
Like you could never clean up their mess? How can we change the world
If fingers hold tight to their ways, curled? But you can't give up, you can't let them win
Get up off your ass, it's time to beginThe last generation left us with a mess,
But we, no not us, we're not powerlessOur generation will rule the population
And they will finally be handed a citationNo longer will they be allowed to pollute
Our lungs, our waters, our lives, I'm resoluteDon't ever stop protesting, yelling back
This is our home, and it's under attackAsk them to work with us, not against
We keep trying to build a wall, put up a fenceBut our generations need to come together
Fight through the pollution, the changes in weatherThe time is now to take a stand
That's right, everyone, all take a handOur voices, every one, need to be heard,
But don't let the division allow you to be luredAway from the progress that can be made
If, of change, we stop being so afraidWe must change our ways to save our home,
Leave us green pastures in which we can roam.So let it happen, change is a part of life
Let's change for the better, if even with strife.Nothing valuable comes easily, or ever will
But we can prevent the next oil spillWith a little hard work and a joining of hands
Let's come together and protect our lands.
