When I got to the dinner table Cameron just stared at me. I acted like I didn't notice, but I really did. I almost looked at him with a glare so he would stop, but his mom started to talk.
"Oh my gosh! Clarissa I heard about the Disney Project you must be so excited!" Cameron's mom exclaimed.
I loved her, she was so different than Cameron. She was kind, loving, and always had a topic to talk about. Cameron had his mothers dark hair, but that's where the similarities end. His mom is my height 5'1 and Cameron is extremely tall. He's 6'1, a whole foot taller than me!
That would be cute.... a foot taller, WAIT WHAT! I thought to myself, wait what! That is just wrong, thats just totally disgusting! Then I remembered I had to reply to Cameron's mom.
"I'm kinda excited, more nervous actually." I laughed and smiled, but I really meant it.
"Oh Clarissa, you're too cute! It will be fun. I know Cameron got Prince Charming, and Lydia got the Evil Step-mother. I mean that is a perfect role for her if I do say so myself." She looked over at Cameron, and I let out a little laugh, that got me a glare from Cameron.
"Mom! That is so rude, yes she is a bit petty, but not evil." Cameron said defensively.
'Well, I disagree, but whatever. So Clary what princess did you get to be? Cameron wouln't tell me."
"Well... ummm... I got Cinderella." I blushed a little, and so did Cameron.
Both of our mom's looked at each other and gave a little giggle. That just made Cameron and I blush harder.
"Well that is just amazing! You guys can actually become friends! Like old times." My mom said happily.
"Maybe more than friends," she wiggled her eyebrows, "She's better than Lydia!"
"Mom." Cameron groaned.
"Shush! It's true! Oh ya! I have another question for you Clarissa, what did you guys do in drama class today, Cameron wouldn't tell me. So how about you tell me the details!" Cameron's mom looked at me, I started to blush even more.
"Nothing exciting." I squeaked, gosh i'm a horrible liar!
"Hmmm, sounds interesting to me!" My mom said with a huge smile.
I looked over at Cameron, and he looked embarrassed. I looked at him wide eyed, silently asking what to do. He just sighed, and nodded his head. I took in a breath, then told them the story. When I finished, I was blushing so much, same with Cameron.
"Awe! That is so cute!" Our parents said in unison.
I stood up quickly, then said, "Ok, time for the movie! We can watch The Lion King or Tangled, the guest get to pick."
"The Lion King!" Cameron and his mom shouted at the same time.
I laughed, and then went to go put the movie in.

Our parents decided that they were too cool for this movie and went to have some "women talk" while Cameron and I watched the movie. Then the part where Simba's dad died.
I started to cry, hard I might add. I mean, who doesn't cry in The Lion King? When his dad dies I can't help but think of my father. He was strong, caring, and was the best father in the world, just like Mufasa was to Simba.
"Are you ok?" Cameron asked kindly.
I wiped some tears away, then replied, "Ya, it just brings back memories."
