"Clarissa how in the world did you get suspended! I am so disappointed in you!" My mom yelled at me right when I got in the car, her face was filled with rage.
"Mom, let me explain. It was for a dumb reason and..." just then my mom cut me off, and started yelling again.
"A dumb reason? Are you kidding me, it must have been pretty bad to be suspended! You have never been a bad student what happened?" At the end of my mom's little rant her voice got a little softer, and I could she she was really just tired and worried.
"Mom, just listen to me for the car ride. Then I will listen to what you have to comment on my story okay? But you have to let me explain a little bit, can you agree to that?" I looked at my mom, and she looked back at me.
"I guess so, but just so you know I am beyond furious at you. And don't think that your story will change that any less, because a suspension is too big for me to blow off. Am I clear?"
"Yes mom." I nodded my head, and then started explaining the story to my mom.

I was able to tell the story to my mom the whole story in the car, and as we pulled up to the house I had said the last of what I needed to explain. I couldn't tell if my mom was mad, in disbelief, or anything; her face was like a brick wall I couldn't read her expression at all. My mom turned off the car and sighed, then she put her hand on her face. I just sat there until she ran her hands through her hair, and looked up at me.
"Are you lying about that principle office trip Clary?" My mom asked, I could hear the dis belief in her voice.
"I wish I could say I was, because then I probably wouldn't be in this car at the moment. I don't think you get it though mom. Lydia runs the school, she is basically higher than the principle. The fact that she hates me makes me her target, and since she has more power than the principle, I get in trouble. She thinks that I am after Cameron, and since he is my prince in The Disney Project, well she hates me more. I don't know what to do about it either, because she can have anything she wants." My eyes started to water, because I had just noticed how deep I was in for.
When my mom saw me about to cry her expression softened. "Oh honey, I'm so sorry. A prank deserves detention not a suspension, come here." My mom pulled me in a hug, and it made me feel slightly better, not really tho.
We got out of the car, and when we got inside I started making some coffee. I needed caffeine after what went down today. After my coffee was made I decided to get all my homework done, then I would have no more work this whole weekend, Monday, or Tuesday.

After about three hours of nonstop work I got it all finished. I had expected it to take longer, but it hadn't. I was so happy that this suspension was going to be a little vacation, and not terrible. I was sad because Lexi wasn't able to hang today, she was working so we had to wait until tomorrow. Since I had no other plans I decided to go take a shower, and freshen up.
When I got out of the shower, I saw that Lexi had texted me so I opened up the text message.
Hey, so I don't have work today! Aren't I a lucky duck?!?!?!

Right as I was about to respond, I heard the doorbell ring. Since Lexi didn't have work she must have come over! I wrapped my hair in a towel, and then wrapped my body in a towel. Then I raced down the stairs to say hi to Lexi. When I opened the door I jumped back in shock and embarrassment. It was not Lexi at my door, but Cameron and his mom.
"Oh, um... hey... sorry I'm just in a towel at the moment I thought you guys were Lexi." I could feel my face turning all sorts of colors, and Cameron's was doing the same.
"That okay! I've seen your naked butt before Clary! Your mom invited us over, saying she needed to de-stress. And she also said that Cameron might be able to whip so sense into your noggin after getting suspended for two days." Cameron's mom replied, and that made Cameron and I blush even harder than before.
"Mom, stop your being embarrassing and making it more awkward." Cameron said to his mom.
"What it isn't like she isn't in like her bra and underwear she is fully clothed! Stop being a immature boy, right Clary?"
"Um... yeah, I have to finish getting ready. My mom should be in her room feel free to go see her. Um, Cameron you can chill down here, or in my room. I'll be ready in like five to ten minuets." I said in a steady voice, but I was so uncomfortable.
"Okay! Sounds good, see you in a bit for dinner kids." And with that Cameron's mom bounced upstairs to my moms room.
"See you in like five." I said awkwardly, then ran upstairs to the bathroom.
When I made it to the bathroom, I sat down on the floor and tried to process what had just happened. I felt so humiliated, that was the worst thing that has ever happened to me. I grabbed my phone, and looked at my messages again. I opened a new text:
I can't come over tho :( I wish I could but my mom is bringing me to see my Grandma. Love ya bae <3

I felt so dumb, I should have texted her before I got the door. I don't even know how I could talk to Cameron after this, I can't do this. My emotions were all over the place now, I know that it shouldn't be that big, but it is, and it is just so awkward. I tried to push it away, and just got ready.
When I finished getting ready I walked into my room, and Cameron was sitting on my bed. I tired my best not to blush, but I failed. I looked down, and put my dirty clothes in my hamper. I walked over to my bed, and sat on it, then we had a very uncomfortable silence. I tried my best not to look at Cameron, but soon I looked. He was looking at me, and we both looked away extremely fast. Cameron was the first to speak.
"So, I heard you were suspended. Was it for the prank?" Cameron asked.
"Yeah, its okay though. It was definitely worth it, and it was fun." I replied, then looked up at Cameron.
"I brought some Disney movies, I owe you that Disney night. You still up for it?"
"Of course!" I smiled, and continued, "Can we just forget what happened at the door? I don't want this night to be awkward." I asked a little quietly.
"Already forgotten." He replied, then shot me a wink.
It shouldn't have gave me butterflies, but it did. I didn't like him though, I never could. It was Cameron we were talking about. I smiled at his wink, and he smiled back at me.
"Good." I laughed, and so did Cameron.
We both laughed, then we heard my mother scream that dinner was ready. I know I was ready for food and a movie night. I was actually excited or once to be with Cameron, I was starting to see a good friendship, even if he has messed up twice.

Heyy, srry long time no update.... but my Great Grandma is close it dying and we have been spending a lot of time with her so its been hard. Plus I had camp last week so that was time consuming. It was really fun though!!! So I hope you guys like the update!
