It was so cold outside, probably twenty degrees. I should have run back to go get a jacket and shoes, but I was not turning around. Cameron was in that house, and I was officially done with him. He has hurt me one too many times, how had I been so stupid! To have actually thought he had changed the slightest.
I was running so fast, the cold air was hitting me like a ton of bricks every time I took step forward. Whenever I took a breath in, the air felt like needles in my lungs. I had been running for ten minutes when I finally made it to Lexi's house. I couldn't feel my face, hands, or feet, but I felt quite happy I actually made it to her house.
I knocked on the door so hard, I needed warmth badly or I might get sick soon.
"Lexi open up it's an emergency! I need you!" I screamed, tears threatened to spill as I truly realized how much I needed someone.
After about thirty seconds of pounding on her door, she opened up, she had just woken up. I could tell by how she still had her eyes closed, and not to mention the hair was a mess.
"Clary can't it wait? I was trying to sleep just..." then she opened her eyes to look at me.
She gave a gasp at my appearance, I could only imagine what I looked like. She motioned for me to come in, I sighed, then stepped in quickly. Oh my gosh it was warm in here, it was like I had just been put in heaven! When I stepped in there was a mirror right in front me, and to say the least I looked like crap.
The reflection staring back at me did not look like myself. My hair has a mess, it was frizzy, and had egg all in it. The white of the egg had froze in my hair, it looked disgusting! My face was red from being out in the cold. My eyes were puffy from crying, and I had huge bags under my eyes. I was a wrek!
"What happened?" Lexi asked softly, her eyes were still wide with shock.
"Well that's kind of a long story, can I just take a quick shower and borrow some clothes, then explain?" I asked, I was freaking cold and needed new clothing that did not have egg on it.
"Oh ya! Totally, take your time." Lexi replied, shooed me upstairs.
Lexi is amazing, no matter what she is always there for me. I do the same for her, it is a perfect friendship I think. I ran up the stairs, this was going to be the best shower in my life!

I was right, that was the best shower ever. I had to wash my hair three times to get the egg it, it was so gross! I spent a lot of the shower just trying to wash away the hurt and pain I was feeling. It felt so nice to be in new clothes, I actually felt a little happy.
I walked down the stairs to see Lexi sitting in the living room with two cups of coffee. I gave her a weak smile, took the coffee, then sat down.
"Ok Lex where do you want me to begin?" I asked quietly, man I was exhausted!
"From the beginning." Lexi replied.
"Well ok, let the story begin."

I gave her the whole story, beginning from the nightmare I had when he busted into my room, all the way to getting pushed by Cameron. Lexi didn't say anything at first, she looked very shocked. We both knew Cameron was a jerk, but she hadn't know he could be this mean.
"I-I-I'm so sorry Clary, I don't even know what to say." Lexi stuttered.
"It's ok, I should have known better, Cameron has always been a jerk. He hasn't changed." I sighed, then took a sip of my coffee.
"Well, I am still sorry! What are you going to do about the project? you have to work with him for three months!"
"I don't know Lex, I really don't." I shrugged my shoulders, and just stared into oblivion.
Just then someone knocked on the door. Lexi noticed that I was lost in thought, so she went to see who it was. When Lexi came back, she almost looked green.
"Someone is here to see you." Lexi said slowly.
"Bad or good?" I asked.
"Bad, it's Cameron."
No wonder why she looked green, she knew what my reaction was going to be. I stormed off to the front door, I was going to go off on him!
"What is wrong with you Cameron! Why did you even bother looking for me, just get out of my life for once! You hate me and I hate you, don't even try to say no to that because your actions have proved enough! You only care about your little girlfriend! SO JUST GO!" I screamed at him, he looked a little hurt, that made me very happy.
"Come on Clary, you need to go back to the house. We're leaving right now." Cameron said.
"No. No way! I'm not going anywhere with you! Especially alone!" I said yelling once again, did he really think I would go with him that easily?
"We can do this the easy way or the hard way, you pick."
"Neither."
"Hard way it is."
Cameron picked me up and threw me over his shoulder. I was hitting his back and squirming around, but there was no use. He was way to strong, his grip was like iron! This called for back up.
"Lexi! Help me Lexi!" I screamed as loud as I could.
Lexi came running outside, and she looked at Cameron and I.
"What are you doing! You can't just take her! She has a choice to stay you know!" Lexi screamed at Cameron, she was furious.
"No she does not, and neither do you. We'll see you later Lexi." Cameron replied coolly.
Then he opened his car door, and sat me in the car. I didn't even try to escape, he could take on Lexi and I so easily so what would be the point. I just stared out the window, I was so mad right now.
"Clary, I just wanted to say I'm sorry, I didn't mean to push you. I never wanted to hurt you, I thought we might actually could become friends again." Cameron said, almost sounding desperate.
I sighed then replied, "No, I'm not going to forgive you this time. You have hurt me one too many times, and I'm not letting that happen again. We're better off not being friends."
Tears started to sting my eyes, and my throat began to tighten. We had made it home, so I bolted out of the car, and ran upstairs. I just cried up in my room.
I wanted to forgive Cameron, but now I am afraid to. He is so nice when he wants to be, or extremely mean. So many thoughts swarmed my brain, I didn't know what to think. After thinking for a little bit I decided I am not forgiving Cameron, yet at least. I need more time, more time to think and evaluate.
Then I looked at my door, and there hung Cinderellas work clothes. I started to cry harder, then it hit me. I was very scared to go to school on Monday, actually more like terrified. Lydia was going to make my life a living hell, and there was nothing that I could do about. Looks like I'll be needing a real prince to come and save me this time.
