20. Welcome To Camp

Part 11/12 of New Year's Chapters 

So this is the end of AB and I hope you guys liked it!  My other book MWC is ending at midnight so all my books will be finished.

They don't have to be anything even remotely related to this book.  It can be anything!  Really hope you guys got some amazing ideas in your head!

Percy POV

It was over. It's two weeks after we defeated Kronos and now I'm finally leaving the Avengers Mansion. The demigods had left a week ago, but I couldn't leave just yet.

After our usual meeting with the gods after we save the world, they let me go back to camp. I was so f*cking glad! I missed the place desperately.

I slung my backpack over my shoulder and looked back at the house. I loved it here. But I belong at camp.

"Percy, wait up!"

Peter was waving at me.

"Peter!"

He ran up and I gave him a hug.

"I actually thought you were gonna let me leave without saying bye!"

Peter laughed.

"No way man. Hope you have a great time at camp!"

I smiled.

"Yeah, it's the best there. But I'll miss you and the place."

"We'll miss you too."

"But we won't miss you monster attacks or early morning swims."

Natasha appeared with the rest of the team.

"Percy! Were you really gonna leave with saying goodbye?"

Wanda came over and ruffled my hair.

"I'll miss Sally's cookies the most though."

I laughed at Clint's comment.

"It was an honor being able to fight with you Perseus."

I smiled and gave Thor a pat on the back.

"Tell that boy Leo to come back sometime!"

"Yeah, I'll tell him that he can pop by, Tony."

Tony grinned.

"Thanks for coming by Percy. Take care."

Steve held out his hand, and I clasped it.

"Thanks for letting a little kid stay and fight with you."

Steve let go and laughed.

"I'll make sure to never do that again."

Bruce came up to me.

"Don't get so hurt alright? I feel bad for your doctor."

"Don't sweat it! My doctor's H2o."

The team chuckled. Dr. Strange shook my hand as I left.

"Thank you for helping protect the planet."

"Kinda my job too, Strange."

Vision flew in front of me.

"We all appreciate your help Mr. Jackson. I wish you safe travels to your camp."

"I don't think anything is safe riding with Argus, but thanks for the thought."

I sighed. Time to leave. I went to the cab and entered.

"Hello Argus! I'm ready to go to camp."

Argus nodded and started his reckless driving.

"Percy, my boy! It's so great to see you again."

"Nice to see you too Chiron."

I walked to Cabin 3 and threw my stuff down. I took in a breath. I was finally back.

"Get off your lazy arse Percy."

I smile and jump up.

"Nice to see you too Annabeth."

She jumped forward and kissed me.

"Come on Seaweed Brain. Everyone's waiting for you."

I held her hand and walked outside.

I looked around and relaxed.

  I was home.
