The Beginning

CHAPTER 14

The gem was right there, in Thranduil's table. I took it and ran away as fast as I could.

I opened the big gate and went into the deep of the forest.

"Arya!" a sweet voice said. I turned around and I saw Legolas running behind me.

"Leave me alone!" I said yelling at him. I didn't want to day that.

He grabbed my arm and turned me around.

"You're different..." he said looking into my eyes.

I wanted so bad to tell him what was happening to me but I couldn't say a word about it because of the spell.

"You have a spell" he said. I didn't move.

"Who wants my father's gem?"

I didn't say anything but in my mind I was yelling Sauron' s name.

"Give me that gem"

"No!" I pushed him away from me.

"Arya, give me that gem. I want to help you"

"Why?"

"Because I saw light in the darkness and it's beautiful" he said.

A strange feeling invaded my whole body making me fall to the ground.

Legolas saved me from falling putting his hands on my waists.

When I opened my eyes I saw the gem in my hand and gave it to him.

"You were under a spell" he said. "Who was?" he asked.

"I don't know. I don't remember anything.

Why am I not in Rivendell?" I asked him.

I knew something was happening, I couldn't remember anything.

"I will take you back to Rivendell. Your dad must be worried" he said.

I felt saved with him but I still wanted to know what happened.

"What is it?" I said pointing to that gem.

"It is a powerful gem. It can make you inmortal when you are in war and make you powerful" he said. "Try to think who wanted this gem". He said.

But I couldn't.
