She led me to a campament inside the caverns. There were some women elves there.
"Who are they?" I whispered to her.
"They are from Rivendell. You don't remember them. You were a baby when they disappeared. Now we are all here, we have been hiding from Sauron for such a long time"
"Wait. Do you mean that you never get to sail to Valinor?"
"When they kidnapped us, they hurted me. The Prince of Mirkwood saved our lives. Your brothers were there too. They took us back to Rivendell to cure my wounds. They knew if I lived, I had to sail to Valinor. When we arrived there, Sauron was waiting for us. They kidnapped us for a long time and then we could runaway"
She put a blanket over my shoulders and we sat next to the fire.
"How have you been?" she asked me.
"Dad wanted me to marry with Dalius"
"Awww Dalius. I never liked that elf"
"Me neither... I.... I fell in love"
"With who?"
"Your savior"
"Legolas?" I nodded. She was surpreised and more excited than I was.
"How did you meet?"
"It's a long story"
"I have time" she said.
While everybody was sleeping, I told my mom hw I met Legolas and everything what happened till we got to Mordor. Even my nightmares.
