The Beginning

CHAPTER 17

I was holding the map and the piece of the necklace of the Evenstar.

I was in the balcony. From the distance, I saw Thranduil and Gandalf arriving.

When I went downstairs I saw everybody reunited. It was a secret meeting because Elladan closed the doors leaving me apaet from it.

I could see who was there; my father, Galadriel, Legolas, my brothers, Thranduil, Gandalf and Tauriel.

I realised I didn't look the map properly. I took it out and started to look.

It was an island. It was Valinor.

I looked for a way to listen their conversation...

I looked for a small place between our garden to spy them. I saw them. My farther looked worried.

"...so as you say she could be alive" he said.

"Some of the guards I sent, saw her. But there are more than orcs there" Thranduil said.

"What's in there?" Elladan asked.

"A balrog" Thranduil said.

"She has to know it" Tauriel said.

"No. It's too dangerous" my father said.

"She needs to know it. She has been dying every day to know the truth!" Tauriel said. She was sad. I didn't know what's happening.

"She won't know her mother is alive" Legolas said. "It breaks my heart I cannot tell her but maybe Sauron will be there and I don't want no one to hurt her" he said.

My heart stopped. My mother is alive?

I looked at the necklace and the map. I ran to my bedroom.

I needed to go and look for her. It was time to find out what was happening. I had to go to Valinor.
