The Beginning

CHAPTER 15

We arrived to Rivendell. My father, Arwen, my brothers, Aragorn, Galadriel and Dalius were there.

I felt fear when I looked at Dalius but didn't know why. My father hugged me.

"We were worried" he said. "Where have you been?"

"I don't remember"

"My love" Dalius said and he kissed me.

I tried to avoid his lips but it was impossible. I looked at Legolas. He was looking at the ground serious.... And he looked sad.

"I was talking to your father. We will get married today" Dalius said.

"What?!" Legolas said. "It's too soon"

"Not for me" he said.

I didn't say a word. I was shocked.

"Arwen, take your sister and get her ready. At sunset, they will get married" my father said.

She put me a new dress. Galadriel was doing my hair.

Someone knocked the door.

"Come in" Arwen said.

It was Tauriel.

"Hi" she said. I smiled at her. "You look so beautiful" she said.

"Thanks"

Lindir appeared.

"We need you downstairs" he said pointing at Galadriel and Arwen. And they left leaving Tauriel and me alone.

"I am sorry for coming here. I never saw a wedding. I don't know what true love is" she said with a sad but sweet love.

"Neither do I" I said.

"What do you mean?"

"I don't love love him"

"I know you don't. What about Legolas?"

"What's wrong with him?"

"I know you love him. And he loves you back"

"How do you know it?"

"When you disappeared he was looking for you in every place. He was so worried"

"Are you ready? Everybody is waiting" Lindir said.

We went upstairs. Tauriel kissed my forehead and left to the room.

I was eaiting my turn to coming into the room.

Legolas left.

"Are you staying? I said. He looked at me.

"You are so beautiful in white... I am not staying"

"Why?"

"If I see this, my heart will be broken forevermore" he said.

The gates were opened and I started walking down the aisle.

I looked back and looked at Legolas. He was looking at me.

I looked at Dalius and I felt sick. I started to remember what happened. The more I was looking at him, the more I remembered. The knife, the kidnapping, the gem....

"Sauron..." I thought.

Dalius were looking at me. He held my hands. The fear invaded my whole body. I was scared. Legolas was right there looking at me. He came closer.

"Marry me now!" Dalius said with a powerful voice.

"Arya... I love you" Legolas said. "You shoudn't be marrying him"

Dalius looked into my eyes. He knew I could remember everything. I ran to where Legolas was. I hid behind him.

The room was dark. Dalius made fire into the room.

"She will be mine" he said. Legolas was pointing at him with his arrow and Dalius disappeared.
