The Beginning

CHAPTER 37

"They are moving away" my dad said when he appeared. "We can just now leave but we have to go carefully" he said. "Gollum. Are you coming with us?"

"No. We have to stay here" he said waving his hand.

Minutes later, we finally could breathe some fresh air.

Tauriel was sat on a rock.

"I thought happened to you!" she came running towards us and she hugged me.

"I see you found your mother" she said with a smile.

"And it was thanks to you in a way" I said. She hugged me again.

"You're my friend" she said. She went to the rest to say hi.

"We should go to Rivendell"

"I need to you and my father" Legolas said to my dad. My dad nodded.

Thranduil, my father and Legolas went away to talk. I only saw how Legolas bowed to my father and to his father, then, they came back.

Some elves guards gave us horses. Some of the guards haf to share their horses so the elves women we found in Mordor with my mom could come with us.

I was with Legolas, behind him.

"What were you talking about?"

"About the war"

"What war?"

"There will be a battle. Sauron tried to kill you. He knows you are alive"

I looked away and started thinking about what Dalius said, even what my mother said. I just couldn't believe my mom knew it. Maybe Sauron told her or maybe she dreamt it like I dreamt about my kidnapping when I was younger.

The days were passing by slowly and I didn't get to say a word to my mother about it but since she told my dad about it, he couldn't take his eyes off of me.

We arrived in Rivendell.

Lindir and Lúthien were there in the main door. All I wanted is to go to bed and get some sleep.

Lúthien hugged my mother and later she went towards me to go to my bedroom. Legolas kissed my hand and I walked away.

On my way to my bedroom I didn't say any word to Lúthien, even though she was asking me questions.

I slept till sunset. I put my light blue dress on and went to the main balcony.

Legolas appeared behind me. He was wearing a silver shirt. He hasn't his weapons with him. He looked relaxed. He was looking at me.

"I loved you from the very first day and I will love you till the end of times. I just want to be with you and every time I look at you I feel like I am in home. Your sweet words are like an harmony to my ears and your kisses are the touching hands that keeps my heart warm. You are the song in every tree when the wind blows and you are the sunlight that touches my skin before the night falls. And when you cry, my heart cries. I love you, Arya. I will always love you".

He just only kneeled to ground and showed me a ring. Her mother's ring.

"Will you marry me?" he asked. I started to cry.

"Yes" I said.
