My father was waiting for us in Rivendell.
When we arrived, he was leading the table. Everybody was there.
"We need a plan" he said.
Someone knocked the door.
"Come in" my father said.
A dwarf came in. He had red hair and a long beard.
"We heard you need help, Lord Elrond"
My father nodded happily.
"Gimli!!" Legolas said running towards him and he hugged him. "I am so glad you came" Gimli smiled at him.
"You know there is only one way to kill a balrog. We should find someone or something that might defeat him." Gandalf said.
"You are not talking about..."
"Yes. Smaug. Smaug is the only one creature who can kill the balrog" Gandalf said.
Lindir came into the room.
"Lord Elrond. The dinner is ready" he said.
"Thank you Lindir. Let's go then" he said.
Later, we were having dinner. I sat far away from Legolas because he had to sit next to his dad and Gimli.
After having dinner, Gimli and Legolas were outside.
"What are you guys doing?" I asked them.
"We are going to drink some beer with Aragorn.Do you want to come with us?" Gimli said.
"She should be inside" Legolas said.
I know he is trying to be protective but I wang to go outside with them. I've spent many years staying in Rivendell.
"Come one. She will be fine with us!" Gimli said.
"Okay, you're coming" Legolas said.
