I was in the balcony. My tears were falling down my face. It was the end.
Someone was yelling my name but it was like an echo for me. I just couldn't believe why my father made that choice. It's my life, I have to make my own decisions.
"Arya" my father said. I turned around and I saw him.
He was wearing the same robe which one he wore in his wedding. He has long dark hair and he was wearing his crown.
"You have to understand..." he said. Suddenly, a third person appeared.
"He has just arrived" the third person said.
"Thanks Lindir. We are going to talk. Tell him to wait. She has to be ready" my father said. My father is Lord Elrond.
If I didn't say it yet, I am his youngest daughter. I have two twin brothers, Elladan and Elrohir and an old sister, Arwen.
Arwen came into the room and walked towards me in the balcony. She stood there without saying any word. She was wearing a blue dress with white sleeves. She was wearing in her hands another dress, my new dress.
I looked at the dress, it was red. I turned around and I started looking back at the sunset.
“Arya, you have to be ready. It's your big day” my father said. I turned to look at Arwen. I cried in silence. “I'm going to talk to him. In ten minutes, meet us in the big table” my father said and he went away.
“I have to do something with your hair. You do not wantto introduceyour fiancethis way” she said looking at my messy hair.
“I don't love him” I said angrily.
“I know you don't but you have to do this… for dad” she said.
“Why can't I marry to someone I love?” I asked her.
“Stop saying that! You are not a girl anymore! We have some troubles with them and the only way to live in peace is that you marry that Prince. He came from a big island just to marry you” she said. She looked mad.
“You only say that because you found the right one. If you were me, you wouldn't say that!” I said.
“You'd better get dress now. I will wait for you with dad and Dalius” she said. She closed the door and I started to cry more.
I really wished my mom, Celebrían, was here. She would tell me to marry the right one. I started thinking about her. I didn't know why she went to Valinor. That reminded me of some nightmares I always have every night. Fire, arrows, shouting, blood…and…and those blue eyes. I really wish my father could tell me why she ran away, why he had me as a bird in a cage.
A knock on the door made me come back to real world. It was my assistant. An elf who came with me everywhere I go. Her hair was light brown, as mine. She had it in a braid.
“Hello Lúthien. I think I'm ready” I told her. She smiled at me.
We both walked towards where my father, my siblings and Dalius were. I walked like if I was about to die in some minutes.
