Chapter 4

"Oh my god you're alive!" Machi ran up to you. "What did he do to you? You look rough." Hisoka came up next to you two. "We just talked."   "About what?"   "My family... And he asked me to join the troupe."   "Ohh that's wonderful" Hisoka clapped his hands together. "Did you say yes?" Machi asked.  "I did."   "Where do you want your tattoo?"  "My tattoo?"  "Mhm. All troupe members have matching spider tattoos."   "Oh... i'd get it on my back probably."   "You'll probably get your tattoo after the auction."   "Umm by the way... who's Feitan." Machi walked me around the room and introduced me to everyone. She introduced me to Feitan last. "Feitan this is our new member, y/n. She's coming with to the auction."    "She doesn't look. Like she'd be. Very much. Help."    "Um hello? What are you 4'9?You look like you're 8 years old. Whats your nen ability? Playing with legos? Oooh scary. I have a sudden urge to step on you."

I saw Menchi's jaw drop. "Y/n! You're gonna get yourself killed."    "Whats he gonna do to me honestly?"   "I will. torture. you."    "k. so when are we leaving?"   "10. minutes."   "Do you think i should ask to come with you guys? Incase y/n gets hurt since it's her first time."  Menchi asks. "Are. you two. dating?" i blushed a little and looked at the floor, Menchi did the same. "No... I just don't want her to get hurt that's all.Because i know you guys would probably leave her there."    "Go ask. boss."  Menchi left you with Feitan.

"I have. a sudden urge. to. torture you. slowly and. painfully"    "Go right ahead, oompa loompa. What are you waiting for?"   "What did. you call. me?"   he charges towards me, thinking im weak. I move to the side slightly and hold out my arm in front of his neck to quickly pull him into a headlock. "You're too easy. I thought you would be better than that. That was a pretty boring fight don't you think?"     "I. underestimated. you."    "Clearly."  i scoffed and tightened my grip around his neck, watching him squirm.

"Mm whats going on here." I look up to see Hisoka. "Tell. your girlfriend. to let. me go."     "Feitan i thought you were better than this."    "I thought. she. was weak."   Hisoka patted the top of your head and Machi returned. "My beautiful girlfriend please let Feitan go." I glare at Hisoka and push Feitan out of my grasp and onto the floor. I look at Machi's widened eyes. "What the hell."   "What? He came at me."   "Serves him right then. You and Hisoka are dating? I didn't know that."   "No way. Did boss say you could come with us?"   "Yup! We should head out now." I waved by to Hisoka and helped Feitan off of the floor. I threw him over my shoulder and followed Machi.

Feitan told me and Machi to guard the doors and kill anyone who tried to go in. We both stood on each side of the doors and did as we were told. It took minimal effort to kill these guys. Minutes later we saw Feitan, Shizuku, and Franklin come out the doors. "That's all? That wasn't very entertaining." Us 4 kept walking as Shizuku cleaned up the bodies with her vacuum thing. "Where are we going now little guy?" i asked Feitan and patted the top of his head. He swatted my hand away. I heard Machi laugh and Feitan gave her a death glare.

We watched Uvogin fight off hundreds of people. I eventually got bored and stood up. "I'm going for a walk." I looked at Machi, who didn't seem very amused either. "Do you wanna come too?"    "Sure!" Machi stood up and we started walking. Apparently nobody was listening to us and i heard someone yell. "Where are you guys going?" It was shizuku. "They're going on a date or something." Feitan said. "On a WALK." I yelled back and me and Machi kept walking. We walked for a while and eventually ended up back in Yorknew City. We talked about random stuff and she was actually quite enjoyable to be around. "We've walked this far already??" She asked.  "Guess so. Wanna get some food?"   "Okay! You pick." We went into a small noodle shop got it to go. We decided to go onto the roof of a neighboring building to eat.

We stepped out of the elevator onto the last floor and went to the stairs that leaded to the roof. "Hey y/n. Don't push me okay." i laughed at her "I won't ." We sat on the roof and ate our noodles in silence and I admired the stars. I always loved space, i used to dream of being an astronaut but that dream quickly faded. "You really like the stars don't you." she said that as if she could read my mind. "I love them. As a kid i used to stare out my window for hours, just looking at the sky." I put my empty bowl to the side and layed on my back, Machi did the same.

"They really are beautiful."  We talked for a little while longer. "Hey y/n?"    "Yeah?"    "What's your backstory?"   "Backstory? Hmm.. i don't really have one."  Machi flipped onto her stomach, her hands holding her head up. "Of course you do! Everyone has a backstory. I'll tell you mine if it will make you more comfortable."   "Okay."
