Chapter 14

I drove downtown to the less occupied buildings. "Pick a building." I said. "The one in the back. I already texted Chrollo." Machi answered.

I pulled into the buildings lot. "You guys go clear out the people, if there is any. I'm gonna wait here for Chrollo." I shut the car off and they got out and walked to the building.

I sat in the car by myself until I saw Chrollo pull up. I stepped out of the car and made my way towards him. I noticed Shalnark laying in the backseat, basically unconscious with bruises all along his body. "Hey! Chrollito!" I shouted. "You don't need to yell." He stepped out of the car. "What happened to Shalnark?" I asked. "Take a guess." He scoffed.

"Um. Lose the attitude." I 😐. "We gonna go inside then?" He leaned against the car. "Yeah. I sent the others in to clear it out." I said. "K cool." He began walking. "Um Chrollo what about Shalnark? We can't just leave him here, that's dangerous." I turned my head to see him already at the door. "You can bring him in since you're the boss right?" He shouted and gave me a smile before entering the building.

I opened the back door of the car. "Shalnark." I shook him. "Hm?" He slowly opened his eyes and tried to lift his head. "Do you think you'd be ok to walk or do I have to carry you?" I tilted my head. "I can walk." He tried to sit up but quickly fell back down due to the pain. "I'll carry you." I helped him sit up and then stand on the ground. "I hope you're not too heavy." I picked him up and threw him over my shoulder. "Not too bad." I groaned.

I slowly walked to the entrance of the building and opened the door. I saw the others gathered in one of the rooms so I walked in and set Shalnark in a chair. "Thanks for the help. Now my back is gonna be sore." I sighed as I seated myself on one of the tables. "Chrollo you didn't help her?" Machi questioned. "She didn't need my help."

"Actually I did. You walked away from me." I said. "Well I just thought that since you're the boss you'd be strong enough to carry one man. Guess I was wrong." He shrugged and smiled. "You need to get yourself together, stop being a little bitch. Unless you want me to be the boss? Is that what you want, Chrollo? Because i'm sure we can make an arrangement."

"I think that's a wonderful idea." He spun around in the chair. "Alright then. Give me your jacket." I held out my hand. "Fight me first." He said. "Easy enough. I'll meet you outside." I turned towards the door and began walking.

I will give you guys 3 options to choose from for the next chapter.
1. y/n becomes leader and they go on to fight the fam without chrollo.
2. Y/n fights the fam with the troupe with chrollo and becomes leader after.
3. they fight the fam and y/n never becomes leader.
