I sat in the living room cuddled up in the blankets watching the minutes tik by on the clock eagerly waiting for midnight to arrive. Around ten thirty I got a message on my phone.

My lovely Saltyshima:
Hey baby, I was wondering if it was okay with your parents if I came over for new years ☺😊
(Y/n):
Hi darling, Yea ofc you can come over my parents love when your around 😚
My lovely Saltyshima:
Okay I'll be over soon, I love you 😘😘
(Y/n):
I love you to be careful 🥰😘
After getting the message from my boyfriend I eagerly await his arrival. I waited around forty five minutes watching mindless children shows until I finally heard a knock on the door. I smiled while walking to the door almost certain it was Tsukishima waiting. Before I got ahead of myself I looked through the peep hole on the door to see a calm and collected blond headed boy waiting patiently.
I pulled open the door to she Kei dressed in a sweater and a pair of sweats with a small smile on his face "Hi Pipsqueak, how was your day" he asked pulling me in for a hug "It was a longgg day I can't wait for twelve to get here" I groaned pulling him in the house making him close and lock the door before following me back to the couch "Well lucky for you you don't have much longer to wait" he smiled rapping an arm around my shoulders as we waited for the count down.
Finally the time was about to be here so I looked at Kei to see him sound asleep giving me an idea "Tsukki... Kei wake up, Babyyy" I said shaking him lightly fine he leaves me with one option left. I positioned my fingers at his sides then started tickling him making his eyes shoot open "S-s-stop (Y/n)" he stuttered grabbing at my hands until I finally stopped a smirk plastered on my face "Finally just in time to the count down is starting" I said happily plopping myself into his lap.
"5...4...3...2...1!!!!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!" We both yelled in sync looking each other in the eyes our lips connecting a moment later. The kiss was long a passionate making butterflys swarm in my stomach. When we pulled away I smiled cupping his face in my hands looking right into his honey golden eyes seeing all the happiness that laid there.
"I love you so much Kei, Happy new years darling" I said placing a soft kiss on his cheek "Happy New Years baby~ I love you even more than I did moments ago, (Y/n)" he cooed in my ear placing a soft kiss upon my forehead. We stayed like that for the rest of the night cuddled together on the couch watching different children shows until we both fell alseep together.
