Chapters Fourteen

~(Y/n) P.O.V~

I walked down stairs being greeted by my mom and dad "Good morning, do neither of you have work today?" I asked seeing them cuddled up on the couch "Good Morning, and nope" my dad hummed happily turning around slightly to give me a smiled to which I returned.

I made it to the kitchen to see what looked like a breakfast buffet "Are we having guest" I called out confused then I heard my mother call back "I dunno are we?" Now I was even more confused then the question I asked last night hit me 'Can I invite Tsukishima over tomorrow' I thought over and over in my head blushing madly. "Uhh I don't know if he's coming" I said checking my phone again seeing a notification. I looked at me messages and smiled.

Saltyshima:

Hey Pipsqueak, I'll be over in a little bit I have to take care of something first.

(L/n):

Sweet, I'll see you later then Tsukki!

I walked in to the living after grabbing some of the food for myself and sat on the floor in front of my parents "He'll be over later" I smiled stuffing some food in my mouth. "Okay (Y/n), it'll be nice to see him again" My dad said ruffling my hair "Oh by the way... I feel like I should let you know that he thinks (Y/n) is dead and I'm her adopted brother...." I said shyly refusing to look "(Y/n)... tell them the truth because I'm pretty sure Yamaguchi was here to when you made that lie" my dad said strictly "I'm not read to face them as m-myself yet!" I protested I heard my dad sigh "Tell them when your ready but don't wait to long (Y/n)" My dad told me barely above a whispere.

I sat on the floor silently with my parents behind me. After our conversation I sat there thinking about how I would even start to bring it up to him. "Hunny I think your guess is here" my mother said shaking my shoulder slightly I stood up quietly walking to the door.

I took a deep breath and opened the door to the to see Tsukishima and Yamaguchi standing there. "Hey guys" I smiled confused "Hi (N/n), sorry for coming over unannounced I went over to Tsukki's house when he was about to leave so I just tagged along" Yama apologized. I let out a small unnoticed sigh "No it's really no problem what so ever Yamayama! Please come in my parents are in the living room so if you guys want to say Hi" I told the stepping to the side so they could walk in.

After they removed there shoes they walked right into the living room "Good evening Mr and Mrs. (L/n)" Tsukishima said bowing with Yamaguchi behind him. My dad stood up and put his hand out "Hello Tsukishima and Yamaguchi, long time no see not sure if you kids remember me" he said shaking each of there hands. "Of course we remember you Sir" Yamaguchi said smiling brightly. I lingered at the stairs for a moment before speaking "I'll be in my room feel free to come up after you guys have caught up" I mumbled walking up the stairs.

I grabbed some clothes and my binder and made my way to the bathroom to get ready. I put on some baggie gym shorts with one of my usual oversized Tee shirts and walked out to see no one was in the room still so I decided to lay on the bed. I was starting to feel sluggish when I heard the sound of my door open "Tsukki do you really think he's adopted I mean he looks like (Y/n)" Yamaguchi whispered standing by my bed "I don't know Yamaguchi, but think he fell alseep waiting for us though" Tsukishima said "I'm not alseep" I said pushing myself off the mattress. Yamaguchi looked like the color drained from his body immediately I rolled my eyes and yawned looking at the clock. "We should start heading to the school it's late" I said standing up gathering my things "Y-Yea we should g-get going!" Yamaguchi said speed walking out of the room with Tsukishima behind him.

When we got to the school Kiyoko, Tanaka, Hinata, Kageyama, Ennoshita, Narita, and Kinoshita where all already there working on different things. I made my way over to Kiyoko without saying a word to anyone sitting down and immediately started taking notes on things everyone could improve. "Hey (L/n)-San is everything alright you seem a bit quieter than usual" Kiyoko ask with pure concern seeing as I wasn't hyping Tanaka and Noya up or trying to stop Hinata and Kageyama from fighting "I'm fine just confused" I said staring off to somewhere in the court. After that I didn't talk much until the Yachi twins walked in.

"(N/N)!!" Hetana yelled running in my direction coming in for a hug "Hey Hetana" I said welcoming her hug while giving my signature smile "Are you good? You vanished from school for 2 days and these dorks never gave me your number or put me in the group chat!" She yelled pointing to Noya and Tanaka "Hey! Princess you never asked but I certainly wouldn't mind getting your number" Noya said winking at her. Hetana's face flushed red and she buried her face in my neck "Pay attention to him not me also I'm fine" I whispered pushing her away "If your fine then why did you leave!" She said punching me in the arm jumping off of me and runningto talk with the chaotic duo"Ow" I rubbed my arm pouting "Aw Pipsqueak gets hurt so easily, learn to toughen up shorty" Tsukishima smirked while Yamaguchi laughed. I scoffed at them and turned my attention back to Hatene who was hyping up the chaotic due, while her sister was trying to separate the idiotic duo. I smiled to myself watching them all have fun and hoping soon I'd have the courage to tell the inseparable pair the truth.

I walked out of the gym alone unlike usal walking down the road enjoying the sounds of the night. While walking I seen the guy from the grocery store sitting on a bench waiting for a bus "Hey Hey Hey! I seen you at the story the other day didn't I!" He yelled stading up catching my attention "Uh yea, how could I forget the guy who looked like an owl" I said smiling "Yea the names Bokuto just so you know" he said trying to sound cool "(F/g/n)" I replied as a bus came up "Hopefully i'll see you later (F/g/n)! I gotta go back to Tokyo!" He said running onto the bus leave me standing there all kind of confused.

When I made it home the lights where off so I assumed my parents had already went to bed. I opened the door to the house and went straight to my room when I opened the door there was a small box on my bed with a note that read

"Hopefully this will encourage you to tell them the truth

I sat the note down and opened the box to see a flower crown, and a folded note in the box.
