It's A Secret Not A Lie (Tsukishima Kei X Reader)

Chapter Five

~Tsukishima's P.O.V~
(Two Weeks later)

I walked down the hall during lunch extremely agitated "Tsukki! Don't you think we should go back to class?" Tadashi said following behind me "You can go back to class... I didn't ask you to follow me" I said harshly not really caring about anything other than finding (L/n) "G-gomen Tsukki" he replied quietly.

While we walked through the hall I seen Hinata standing in front of a door looking extremely terrified "Where is he?" I asked he moved from the door swiftly running down the hall. I opened the door to see a sticky note that said

"I bet ya think you had found me joke's on you Tall salt shaker! Fine me if you can 🤪😜"

I grunted in annoyance following the direction Hinata went.

I followed the direction Hinata went until I got passed the first corner 'He's still new and last time I checked he didn't explore the school yet but he did know where the Cafeteria, Gym, and Club Room was' I thought making my way to the club room first.

I walked through the door to seen a figure curled up under a jacket. I smirked carefully pulling the jacket off of him.

~(Y/n) P.O.V~
(20 Minutes earlier)

For the last two weeks I've been sitting with Yamaguchi and Tsukishima during lunch but Tsukishima keeps his headphones on all the time while Yamaguchi and I talk. "Hey Yama-Kun I have a question about the salt shaker there" I pointed at the blond boy Yama stifled a laugh just answering with a small "hm" I smiled "Did he always where headphones during lunch?" I raised an eyebrow he thought before responding "Not really he and I usually talked.. well more like I did the talking and he listened" Yamaguchi said laughing awkwardly my lips quirked into a smirk.

I walked over to Tsukishima's desk and pulled the headphones off his head startling him "(L/n) Give me my headphones back" His voice was monotone but slightly deeper and sent chills down my spine. "What kind of music do you listen to anyways" I asked ignoring him putting them on. I heard a familiar song, it was (F/s) I smiled. I felt a precise beside of me and the headphones being pulled. "No I'm listening" I said holding them on my head running out of the room with Tsukishima's headphones and phone. I didn't stop running until i bumped into Hinata.

"Hinata I need your help just stand in front of this door and act suspicious if Tsukishima's comes by" I said in one breath sticking a note in the room then  pushing Hinata in front of the door not letting him say anything.

I took of running to the club room hiding under a jacket I found hoping he wouldn't come to the club room first.

I stayed that way for a while until I heard the door creek open. I tensed up gripping tighter on to the headphones and the phone that where now in my hands. "Found you" His voice was a little bit over a whispere as he pulled the jacket off. "Now hand me the headphones and phone, don't make this difficult (L/n)" he said with his lanky figure standing over me. I looked him dead in the eyes saying the words "Make me" he sighed in annoyance grabbing my and pulling me up onto my feet. With in a few seconds my back say against the wall with his arms on both side of me keeping me trapped.

Tsukishima moved his face close to my ear before whispering "If you ever take my headphones and phone again you'll have to deal with more than me chasing you around the school" a smirk was plastered on his face. h
He took his belongings from my hands and walked away leaving me frozen in place with an extremely red face.

I fanned my face trying to get myself to calm down after being so embarrassed. After maybe ten minutes of trying to calm myself down after that encounter I made my way back to class.

When arriving to the class I opened the door only to get surrounded by girls "Oh my god I thought something happened to you" one girl yelled while the others nodded in agreement. "Tsukishima didn't do anything to you right?" Another one ask I looked at them confused "What? No of course not" I said pushing past them going to my desk. 'God I hate all that everyone knows' I felt a tap on my shoulder so I looked up at the person "I know people have already asked you this but are you okay? Tsukki can be pretty intimidating" Yamaguchi shyly asked. I stood up and attempted to pat his shoulder saying "Thank you for caring Yama but I'm fine" his smile was small but genuine "I'm glad" he said lightly patting my head. All the girls in the class glaring at him.

Class was proceeding as usual when Yama tapped my shoulder and put a note on my desk. "Someone passed it from up there" he whispered I shook my head opening the note. I was not shocked after reading it these note were something I used to get every other week at my old school. I rolled my eyes laying the note that said

"Hey (L/n)-Kun,
Can you meet me on the roof? There's something I wanna tell you. It's really important that you know and hopefully you will feel the same. We can meet at the end of the day after class
Xoxo"

"What is it?" Yama asked quietly looking at it weirdly "Someone wants to meet me on the roof, I'm going to assume it's another confession seeing how its written" I lazily laid my head on my desk facing Yamaguchi "Are you gonna go" he whispered back writing down the teachers note "I dunno" I said back not moving an inch. "Yamaguchi, (L/n) do you to have something you would like to share with the class?" I teacher rased there eyebrow at us look annoying "No/No Sir" Yamaguchi and I said in sync "Also (L/n) Sit up there's no sleeping in my class" he scolded as I begrudgingly got up.
