Chapter Sixteen

~Tsukishima's P.O.V~

"(Y/n)?" I heard Kozume call out I looked in there direction to see (L/n) slap a hand over his mouth and whispere something to him. His face looked shocked and frightened as he quickly moved his hands and bowed "I'm so sorry Kozume Senpai" he handed the game back and shook his head "It's fine (Y/n)- I mean it's fine um" he shut his mouth looking at the ground "(L/n)" he replied looking at the game still not noticing I was watching. I stopped paying attention to them wondered how Kozume new that name until it hit me.

After Nekoma volleyball club left I watched the person I new become a complete stranger once again. I tuned everything out and continued to watch (L/n) zone out. After Daichi finished explaining to us about the Interhigh preliminaries, and telling us we didn't have practice tomorrow everyone started to leave but (F/g/n) just sat there in the same spot. "Hey Shorty let's go everyone wants to head home" I said in a voice that was much softer than usual. She stood up and followed me to the gym door neither of us talking as we walked in the direction of her house. "Bye Tsukki, I'll see you tomorrow in class" (L/n) said walking inside not giving me a chance to respond. I stood outside the (L/n) residents momentarily before making my way home. After getting there I pulled out my phone and typed a message to (L/n).

Tsukishima:

Hey Pipsqueak, we need to talk.

Shrimp With The Loud Mouth (L/n):

Uh sure, what about?

Also do you mind helping me catch up on the work I missed?

Tsukishima:

Sure... you can come over to my house tomorrow evening since we don't have practice. We can talk then if it's okay with you.

Shrimp With The Loud Mouth (L/n):

Okay sounds great to me goodnight Tsukki!

I exited my messages and put my phone on the charger sighing. I walked to the shared bathroom taking a nice long shower hope all the thoughts of today would leave me for just a few.

~Third Person P.O.V~

After showering Tsukishima laid on his bed in complete silence. Outside the moon shone into his run illuminating it ever so slightly giving off just enough light that the picture of him, his brother, and his friends that sat on his bedside table could be seen. Tsukishima would never admit to anyone but the girl with (H/c) hair and (E/c) eyes that lit up every time she seen or found something she liked, he missed her. During the calming night all the blond headed boy could do was toss and turn wondering if his best friend was really closer to him than he had originally thought.

~(Y/n) P.O.V~

I woke up and quickly texted the group a good morning text. I changed into my school uniform and made my way to kitchen to get something to eat before making my way to school.

I walked outside to see Hinata and Kageyama standing outside waiting for me like we planned the night before "Hey guys" I smiled to them walking out making sure to lock the door to the empty house. "HEY (N/N)!" Hinata happily exclaimed running to me like a little puppy while Kags gave me one of his rare smiles. We walked to school talking about various things things until we got to there class "I'll see you guys at lunch okay" I said patting Hinata's head and nudging Kageyama's side lightly.

I walked into the class seeing everything as it was the last time I was there. The girls all huddled together gossiping, the guys in there own groups, and Yamaguchi and Tsukishima sitting together with an empty desk in-between them. I discreetly made my way over to my desk not drawing much attention. "Hey guys" I said grinning happily, I wanted to tell them the truth, I was ready to tell them the truth but I decided to wait for now.

The teacher called the list of students for roll call stoping momentarily at my name "(L/n)?" He asked "Here" I called back proudly "(L/n)-San It's nice to see your finally back" the teacher said with a smile. I shook my head then continued looking back out the window.

At lunch I managed to get out of the class room before anyone stopped me and made my way to the gym where Hinata, Kageyama, and I decided to meet up. I walked slowly smiling to myself for some unknown reason. Upon arriving a sat down at the corner and waited for the idiotic duo. I heard the sound of running then the gym doors fly open "I win!" Kags and Hinata called in unison "Actually I win" I spoke up waving them over.

We sat together eating while Hinata blabbered on about the 'Tiny Giant' I smiled everytime he got more enthusiastic about how he was inspired by Tenma Udai the Tiny Giant! Suddenly he stopped speaking and looked straight at me "(N/n) are you okay? You seem really happy but in a dreamy sorta way.. kinda like the way I look at um" he cut himself off looking to the boy beside him. "Oh (L/n) Your gonna be the first to know me and Hinata are dating" Kageyama said with the faintest smile. I was both shocked and happy "Oh my gosh congratulations guys!" I said happily "Wait you don't think it's weird for to guys to date?" Hinata asked looking down "Not at all Sho" I smiled and patted his head softly. As soon as Hinata's upset appeared it vanished "So! (N/n) who are feeling this way about?" He asked sitting on his knees leaning in. I was at a loss for words "I didn't know" I lied "Well just remember whoever it is me and Kags will always support you!" Hinata yelled hanning on Kageyama.

The class bell raing right as I walked into class. I seen my two friends sitting there happily chat with each other. I looked at the green hair one with a kind and gentle smile while I looked at the blond with a loving smile this is when I realized that Tsukishima was the one Shoyo was asking me about.
