Chapter Six

~Yamaguchi's P.O.V~

Class ended smoothly with no other 'Interruptions' as my teach would call it. I looked to my side surprised to see (L/n) fast asleep at his desk I smiled he was really cute.

I walked over to wake him up only to be stopped by Tsukki. "What is it Tsukki?" I pressed "Leave him, we should let the teacher deal with it" He scoffed "But he'll get in trouble Tsukki" I said lightly shaking him "(N/n)-Kun get up" his beautiful (E/c) fluttered opened "hm class is over?" He asked rubbing his eyes sitting up "Yea" I said chuckling "Yamaguchi let's go before where late to practice" Tsukishima said taping his foot impatiently "R-right Gomen Tsukki, are you coming (L/n)?" I asked slightly hoping he'd say yes. "Ugh... I'll head down to practice later I have to take care of first" he said quickly gathering his things running off.

I sighed lowly "He cute isn't he Yama" I looked to see Tsukki's eyes following the direction (L/n) went "Yea" I mumbled 'Whenever Tsukki and I are alone he calls me Yama and it's nice he's my best friend even though he acts cold to everyone he shows me kindness' I thought looking at him smiling.

We walked to the gym slowly "Do you like him?" Tsukishima's question took me by surprise sure (L/n) was cute and sure I knew I wasn't straight but at the same time I wasn't gay. I gave Tsukki a lopsided smile "No but I do like someone" I said confidently walking passed him his face gave off a dumbfound expression before going back to his usual stoic expression.

~(Y/n) P.O.V~

I trudged up to the roof to meet the writer of the note. When I finally made it I chuckled, the roof was completely empty I sat done at the barred edge. The wind was blowing slightly causing my short hair to flow in the breeze. I closed my eyes and smiled contented just enjoying the this moment when I heard the door creek open I turned around with a small smirk on my face. The girl stood there scuffing her shoe on the ground "Sorry I came late" she shly said "Ya know inviting someone here and then being late is kinda rude, but I don't mind... come sit let's talk" I said patting the ground next to me.

I watcher her out of the corner of my eye as she walked beside me and sat down. She opened her mouth like she was going to speak but in the end she said nothing "We never formally met I'm (L/n) (F/g/n), First year class 1-4" I said leaning my head back turning it to the side looking at her "Hetana Yachi, First year class 1-5" she replied with a blush she was really cute with long brown hair and brown eyes.

We sat in silence yet again so I closed my eyes just letting the wind blow "You probably think I'm here to 'confess my love' right?" Her voice had a new found confidence that made me smile "Not really" I lied "Can I see the note?" She put her hand out as I handed it to her. She looked over the note snickering at the end "I'm gonna kill Hitoka" she mumbled. She looked at me with a smile "The reason I wanted to talk you was because I wanted to be friends, unlike most of the girls here I'd rather befriend people than be in a relationship" he voice was soft calming even but at the same time the tone of her voice was ice cold. I chuckled thinking to myself 'This girl is something else, she went from timid to ice cold' she looked at me questioningly so I sent here a cheeky smile "I'd love to be friends" her attitude changed slightly and a forced smile was seen but her eyes where genuinely happy. I picked my phone up looking at the time "Crap I gotta go I didn't realize how late it was see ya later Yachi-san!" I yelled jumping up and running to practice.

I was running down the stairs when I got to the bottom I stopped to chatch my breath "Eh Pipsqueak where have you been?! Suga and Daichi Senpai got worried so they made me come find you" Tsukishima said towering over my small self "I just lost track of time" I said shrugged my shoulders still trying to catch my breath a bit. I felt a larger hand grip my forearm and pull me along.

"Saltyshima I can walk on my own you know" I grumbled attempting to pull my arm away to my dismay his grip only got tighter. When we got back to the gym he and I went straight to the captain and vice captain of the volleyball team also know as Daichi and Sugawara but my favorite name for them Dad and Mom.

"I found him he was running down the stairs" Tsukishima said losing his grip "Thanks Tsukishima" Daichi said "Tch whatever" Tsukki said looking away Suga hugged me tigh "My little crow is okay I thought something happened to you" I smiled and attempted to laugh "To tight" I said Sugawara immediately let got "Sorry but don't worry us like that" Suga scolded in a loving motherly manner. I shook my head in agreement when I heard the doors open and Kiyoko walked in.

"I ask someone else to join as a manager so it's not so hard for you" Kiyoko informed me "Thank you Kiyoko Senpai I really appreciate it" I told her grinning like a child. After that practice went on perusal the only difference was no one asked for my help until cleaning time.

I was attempting to take down the net but I couldn't reach a knot at the top so I did the only logical thing. "Hey Tsukki can you come help me take the net down?" I told him "It'll cost you" he said with a mischievous tone I skeptically rased my eyebrow at him "Strawberry short cake" was his only answer before untying the knot. "Oh yea and Pipsqueak don't think I forgot about you taking my stuff this morning" his smirk made that sentence chill me to the core.

After cleaning up I walked with Yamaguchi and Tsukishima like I do every evening "Bye guys! I'll see y'all tomorrow I have to go train with Shimada" Yama ran off waving to us.

Like the usual routine Tsukishima went to put his headphones on before stopping "I want my strawberry short cake this weekend, oh and you'll also get your pay back" I looked at him shook while he acted like nothing happened putting on his headphones happily.

When I got to my house I noticed that Tsukishima had followed me "Do ya need something Tsukki" I asked walking up to my door he didn't say nothing he just stood there looking at the window. I looked to the window to see my mom peeking out I chuckled to myself "That's my mom" I told him his eyes left the window and landed on me "AWWW Does Tsukki want a guy goodnight???????" I said darting to him "Not a chance" He moved out of the way causing me to fall. I huffed in annoyance and walked back toy door "See you tomorrow Tsukishima" heard a faint "Bye" as I closed the door.

I took my shoes off "I'm home" I walked to the fridge to get a snack "Welcome home hunny" my mom said walking in the kitchen with a smile and book "Who was that boy with you?" She bluntly asked "Uhm my friend Tsukishima from class and volleyball club" I told her shrugging "I thought so..." he vlice trailed off a bit at the end. I looked at her questioningly "Hunny why don't you sit down I wanna show you something" She said patting the seat I took a see and she set the book on the table. "A book of pictures?" I asked and she shook her head opening it.
