I knew Bella would surely come up with this plan. The Master would be happy to hear this. I need to inform him about the meeting.
"Hello! It's me. [Pause] I've got some news for you"
There was a silence which made me fear that the Master was not interested in my information. However the reply came after some time.
"What do you know?"
The Master did not speak much. He directly opens up the matter.
"Bella is having a meeting with us"
"Where?" The Master asked quickly and then I knew that he wanted my information. I was satisfied.
"At the cafe next to the museum".
Silence. And then the Master asked, "Tell me the time"
"We are meeting in about a half an hour"
Silence. The Master spoke in a quiet tone, "Listen well. I need you to assist her in finding what we want from her. Be very careful, I don't want you to get caught. And very importantly, remember the reward for your mission. I also want you to report whatever that happens around her without delay. If you disobey my orders you know what your state would be" And the line went blank.
A cold chill ran down my back hearing the last words of the Master. But I did not have any intention of disobeying his orders because getting to do this mission was beyond happiness, it was like playing god. You get to observe the person without him or her knowing it. It gave me a sense of pleasure and satisfaction. It made me feel powerful.
"Bella, let's find out what future has in store for us. Good for me and worse for you" I thought to myself.

Adrian
The cafe was only a few yards away and I could feel her anticipation looming over me. Bella was tapping her fingers on her lap throughout the drive and I could not help but feel a little nervous myself.
"Bella, calm down. We can surely find a way out of it" I said trying to easen up her tension.
"I hope it's easy as you say. He has given us only 24 hours and I have no idea what I'm searching for to whom I should turn for help".
I could sense her desperation, it was not easy for her to accept this sudden terror.
I took her hand, looked into her deep blue eyes and said, "No matter what Bella, I will always be by your side"
My words instantly brought her the assurance and mental support needed.
"Thank you Adrian, I'm sure that we'll figure this out together". Saying so she held my hand tight.
Lizzie and Susan were already seated in the very corner of the cafe, "a private place indeed, we will be safe from eavesdroppers" I thought to myself.
As soon as Bella and I reached the table, Lizzie began to throw questions at us.
"What are you guys upto? Why did you want us to meet here, and above all today?" She was utterly dissappointed in having to sacrifice her Sunday.
"Guys, did you leave your mobile phones back?" Bella asked them.
"Ofcourse we did Bells, now tell us what happened?" Susan was calm and she seemed like she really wanted to know what was happening.
Bella took a deep breath and narrated the whole incident to her friends. "So the thing is that I only told you three about the books, I want to know if any of you told someone else about those books"
Susan was the first to answer, "Oh come on Bella, I was busy the whole week and I didn't get to talk freely to any of my acquaintances and I didn't have any memory of your books until you mentioned it now"
Bella turned to Lizzie, "Liz what about you?"
Lizzie seemed to be absorbed in a deep thought and she was not able to grasp Bella's question.
"What were you asking me?" She asked Bella.
"Did you tell anyone about the books I discovered somedays before in my house?"
Her expression was as if Bella had hit her on the face. She stammered while she answered Bella'squestion. She looked like she was in trouble "Do you... do you suspect me Ms.Bella?" I could see that she looked pissed.
"Do I look like someone who goes around blabbering their friends' secrets to all the people they see. I'm very much disappointed that you even dared to ask us such a question" and with that she left the cafe hurriedly.
"I only wanted to know" Bella said her hands on her head.
"Leave it Bells, you know how she is. She'll come back. For now we need to figure out what that man wants. Let's head back to your house and see what we can do." Susan was always the mediator.
"But.... But what about Lizz?" Bella was starting to get worried. I could see it from the expression on her face.
"Don't worry, I'll ask her to come to your place" Susan assured her.
