She smiled up at the sun.

It felt like just yesterday Reeve had arrived and their family was complete. It felt like just yesterday that Cassius had marked her. It felt like just yesterday they had been able to run with their pack for the first time during a ceremonial run beneath the moon. However, as all time does, the days were flying by and she was trying to live in every moment, because soon it would be time for the Radburn family to return home.

She would surely visit them in Canada. Reeve had become like a sister to her, sharing clothes--of which they had fought over one of the nice shirts and accidentally ruined it--but it was the thought that counted. So, one the final day before it was time for everyone to return to their respectful places in the world and continue to make a difference, they went out for a spar as a family.

Of course, Beth and Deikota were having a party that was partially for everyone but mostly for their second pregnancies. They were due in two months, which was coming up quickly, and everyone was excited about it. Most of the women stayed behind to help set up the food and gifts but she followed everyone else through the woods.

They hadn't gone for the training field, instead they veered off into the woods and began sprinting. Cassius had given her a wink before he shifted and took off. She didn't ask questions and she followed everyone to an open spot by the river. The grass was matted down and she realized when these guys went to spar, they were just playing with each other under the sun, and she was living for every moment of it.

She watched as Leroy and Cassius went against each other. Their bodies moved like day and night, one golden and the other dark, and it was like a beautiful symphony. They only half-nipped and tussled, simply enjoying the moment. She watched a lot of the warriors go against Cassius and she was proud when he was victorious.

Then, she watched Reeve and Fox get into it. That was an amusing sight because their spar was a little rougher, their eyes more determined, but in the end, after throwing each other in the grass multiple times, they made up with handshakes. She almost expected Kian to jump in and spar with Reeve but she was told he wasn't exactly aggressive enough to do so. He preferred to watch, giving Reeve bright smiles from the sidelines, and his hazel eyes were soft.

She found herself liking Kian a lot more. He was a gentle soul, his voice always soothing, and he was like a complete contrast to Reeve--but she loved it. Kianu Reeves was her favorite couple to watch, from their bickering over coffee at breakfast, to their soft moments where they gazed into each other's eyes. They were perfect for each other, balancing their differences and soothing each other's soul--she was surprised to find out that Kian and Reeve were an Alpha Pair.

Though, it made sense. They had two Betas. They were all about breaking the rules, it matched Reeve perfectly, and she was sure the Council was having a fit; but nobody would go against the two largest packs in the world right now. Not that it was a bad thing, Aloysius and Radburn brought light to every dark place and they found in the name of justice.

Her attention was drawn back to the spar circle as Eli stepped up, ready to spar with Reeve, and everyone erupted in cheers. This was truly a moment and she smiled in anticipation of watching it all play out.

Eli was quick, swift, and steady with his movements. It was almost like a blur watching Reeve and Eli spar with each other and she realized this had happened many times before. They were toying with each other, she could see that, but she was extremely proud of Eli. He had changed his motive lately and he truly discovered himself, his movements were like liquid as he was a natural without following the trained steps in his head. He was truly a great young warrior.
