This will be an alternative for what could happen in the war. Action chapter mostly.

Luna flew into battle, slamming into HiveWings, praying to Clearsight she wouldn't bump into her brother or Swordtail. She tackled an orange-yellow HiveWing with black freckles, flung out her wrists, and Flamesilk spiraled from her wrists and swarmed upon the HiveWings like bright orange, flaming vines that could burn you alive. She felt an odd sense of pleasure attacking HiveWings. They were the very tribe that had captured and enslaved her tribe and used them as objects, and attempted to eradicate the entire LeafWing population. Luna fought for Blue, for Swordtail, her tribe, and her mothers, and any other dragon that the HiveWings had harmed.

Sundew just wanted to kill the HiveWings. She had wanted to stamp out every single one of their arrogant smiles and kill them all. Well, that's what she thought, until she learned the truth about  her tribe. Now she was fighting because she was caught in the middle of the war. The only HiveWing she would really enjoy killing would be Wasp. She became face to face with Nettle. Well, maybe I can enjoy this...at least a little bit... Nettle flew straight towards her. Sundew dodged her attack, diving down, Nettle following close behind. They had been trained together-but the dragon inside her head wasn't Nettle. It was Queen Wasp. Sundew whirled around, slashing Nettle's cheek with a snarl. Nettle roared with fury. Sundew caught a quick glance around the battle field. The HiveWings were being slaughtered. Dead corpses fell from the sky. All the ones she saw were HiveWings. Cricket was staying with Bumblebee, where she would be safe with the little HiveWing. Well, that's what she thought.

Cricket snarled at the HiveWings entering the cave, Bumblebee was behind her. I will not them hurt you as long as I have breath in my body. Cricket tensed, not wanting to hurt her fellow HiveWings, but she would not let anyone put their talons on Bumblebee. Three full grown adult HiveWings stood by the entrance, blocking Cricket's way of escape. One of them flew at her, she recognized him, wasn't he Malachite? Her father? She remembered from when Lady Scarab had shown her. Cricket moved quickly to the side, as her father landed on the opposite side of her. This was the first time she had ever seen him-in person, alive and moving, his eyes pure white glowing pearls. Cricket could feel the tears. I'm going to die, aren't I?

Blue couldn't control the movements of his own body. He felt extreme guilt for every dragon he hurt-countless dragons from different tribes with families and dragons who loved them. He couldn't get his mind off of a particular dragon he killed. He hated being able to kill dragons all because of a power that was genetic, one he hadn't even known until recently. The dragon reminded him of Clearsight. He didn't see Cricket, which made him relieved. He didn't know what he'd do if he hurt her-he couldn't even imagine it.

Cold frost-breath hit his side, and he roared with pain, turning around to see which dragon had attacked him. It was a blue dragon with large spikes and a frightening whip-thin tail. Cold radiated from their scales. Without control, he lifted his wrists, and flamesilk engulfed the dragon, burning them alive. He could hear their agonized screams as their flesh was burned from their body.

Blue heard someone scream.

 "NO!"

He immediately wanted to crawl in a hole and die. The dragon corpse fell from the sky, it was mostly charred now, impossible to tell it was once blue. He was flying forward. And then he realized who the dragon he was flying towards was. Luna. Blue lost sight of her as an invisible body slammed into him. He couldn't see them. And suddenly he was knocked to the side by another dragon-this dragon has a poisonous barb on his tail and an earring, along with freckles on his snout. He didn't want to attack this dragon. In fact, he wanted nothing more then Cricket's wings around him right now. Her warm safe wings- The thought disappeared as the dragon flew at him swiftly, ramming into him and knocking him out of the sky.
