Swordtail was snoring so loudly Blue couldn't concentrate on sleeping. Blue groaned and rolled over, throwing his wings over his head. Luna was sprawled on her back, her wings spread out on the floor and drool dripped down from her mouth while she snored quite loudly.

Sundew swore under her breath.

"I swear if they don't stop snoring I'm gonna beat them with this branch until they shut up." She mumbled.

Cricket and Blue exchanged glances and then Cricket sighed and rested her head on her talons.

"I can't sleep either."

"None of us can." Sundew snorted.

"Should I drag them out by their wings?"

"NO!" Blue and Cricket shouted quietly in unison.

"Suit yourself."

Sundew rolled over, her back to Blue and Cricket and forcing her eyes shut and after a long while she went to sleep.

Cricket closed her eyes and tried to sleep as well, but none came for her, nor Blue.

A few hours had past by and still no sleep had come for Blue. With a yawn of defeat he got up, stretched his wings, and yawning the entire way, he stepped outside to go get a drink of fresh water.

He approached a rather large puddle, and splashed his face, getting a long drink as well. He heard leaves crunching and could tell another dragon was approaching.

"Blue?"

He didn't have to see her to know who it was.

"Cricket?" He turned around to gaze at the beautiful HiveWing. She gave him a shy, guilty smile and came to sit beside him.

"Can't sleep?" She asked him.

"Mhm."

"Neither can I."

She brushed her wings against his scales and he shivered at the sudden feeling of her cool wings against his scales.

She closed her eyes and leaned against his warm scales and Blue listened to the chirp of the crickets in the Poison Jungle. It was relaxing.

The cold, clear blue water lapped at his talons, and there was new, fresh, rich green grass from the ashes of the Jungle.

The Poison Jungle was already starting to grow again, and everyone helped with that. They had planted trees everywhere and Sundew helped them to grow. Blue still felt guilty about burning down the jungle even though technically it wasn't his fault.

Blue closed his eyes, letting his muscles relax and let out a breath.

Cricket twined her tail with his and they just sat there, underneath the stars, quietly enjoying the peace and safety of the jungle.

Blue opened his eyes and Cricket was staring ahead into the trees.

"What's wrong?" He asked her softly.

"You know..." She said slowly, tilting her head to the side thoughtfully, the moonlight reflecting off her glasses.

"I never thought things would turn out the way they did."

She looked at him and quickly added, seeing the guilty look on his face,

"Not that I would've wanted it to go any differently...I mean...then I wouldn't have met you or the others and we wouldn't be here now...together."

"I'm glad things went the way they did. For the better. I wouldn't change a thing."

"Neither would I." Blue added with a smile.

Cricket looked at him warmly.

The HiveWing tucked her chin under his snout and smiled, yawning and flaring out her wings in a swift, sleepy stretch.

Blue closed his eyes and breathed in her sweet scent of apples and cinnamon.

He didn't remember when he fell asleep but when he awoke Cricket was still there, sleeping quietly, and Blue was careful not to wake her. The sun wasn't up yet, and Blue was still tired but he didn't go back to sleep just yet.

He planted a soft kiss on Cricket's forehead, and the HiveWing smiled and snuggled up closer to him.

Eventually Cricket woke up, rubbing her eyes and the sun was starting to rise.

"Blue?" She asked quietly.

"Yes?"

"Oh, just wanted to see if you're awake."

"Definitely awake." He yawned sleepily.

"Do you think we should go back now?" Cricket asked, looking at the sky.

"Probably." Blue agreed.

They flew home to make it faster and the others were already awake and gathering their things.

Swordtail raised an eyebrow, and Sundew barked, "Where were you? You were gone like half the night!"

Luna snickered, putting away some scales in a leather pouch.

Blue opened his mouth to speak and was interrupted by Luna.

"Why does it matter, what matters now is that they're here now, Sundew." Luna said.

Cricket gathered Bumblebee and collected her things.

"We're going to Jewel Hive today." Sundew said.

"To celebrate the carnation of the new queen."
