Samantha was awaken with a very bright light in her face.
"Hello?" A voice spoke to her.
"Hey, wake up." The voice nudged.
Samantha slowly sat up, and rubbed her eyes. She opened them to see a very small girl in front of her. She jumped backwards, clearly taken aback by the change of setting
"Wh-Who are you!? Where am I!?" Samantha shouted in demand.
The young girl jumped backwards in fear, and stared at her.

"Sorry-.. I didn't mean to scare you..I'm Samantha." She stated.
"I'm Scarlett." The young child spoke quietly.
She had red pigtails, and dark green eyes with glasses. She was wearing a light orange nightgown, and looked very scratched up.
"Are you okay..?" Samantha asked quietly.
"Do you know where you are?" Scarlett spoke.
"You're in his asylum. The Cantipede Asylum."

"What?" Samantha was confused. "Who's "he?" She asked.
"Dexter...The tall man that brought you here. He owns these woods, and captures anyone who comes in them. You were just unlucky enough to enter when he was out." Scarlett explained, playing with her hair.
"No, no, no..This can't be happening. There has to be a way to get out of here." Samantha began to panic.

She looked around the small room. There were two beds, surrounded by light yellow walls. There was a single light, and the floors were white, broken tiles. A strange smell was coming from around the corner, and there were bright grey bars, locking them in.

Samantha went to the back of the room, and ran forward, slamming herself against the metal bars.

Scarlett jumped, and stared at her.
"There is an easier way to get out." Scarlett stated.
"Look."

She grabbed one of the metal bars and yanked in backwards as hard as she could. There was a satisfying snap, and the bar was cracked. There was a gust of wind, and Samantha got a cold chill. The tall man was standing at the bars, and when Samantha blinked to look at the floor, he was gone. Just like that. Scarlett looked at Samantha, and put her finger to her mouth, shushing her.

"Now," Scarlett started, "if you just grab that bar and bend it the opposite way, it will create an opening that you can slip out of. Once you're out, you'll want to turn right, left, and then left again and all the way down the hall is the back door. The code is 00947, don't forget it." Scarlett spoke calmly.

"Wait, how do you know this?" Samantha asked.
"I've been here for about 3 years." Scarlett explained.
"How old are you?" Samantha held a very worried, and concerned look on her face.
'I'm 9, what about you?" Scarlett spoke as if this didn't bother her.
Samantha tried to hide the fact that she was severely shocked.
"15." She said as she looked at the broken bar.
"Okay," Scarlett started.
"Goodluck." She smiled.
"Thanks." Samantha said, as she grabbed the bar and bent it outwards. There was a loud crash from around the corner, and Samantha used it to her advantage. She pulled the bar father, snapping it completely and forcing herself through the bars.

Samantha let out a sigh. She was out of the room. She made a swift movement and turned around.
"Come with me, Scarlett." She put her hand back through the bars.
"I'll take you to Janet's house with me, and we'll find your parents."
"No." Scarlett denied. "I cannot run." Scarlett explained.
"My legs can barely give me enough strength to walk."
She looked down at herself, and back up at Samantha.
"You need to get out, he will be back soon. When he comes back, you'll want to be far away from this insane place, or he will catch you."
