"Great work team!" Spider-man complimented, "We've gotten much more efficient these past couple weeks." The Web Warriors, with the help of Apex, had just saved a group home from being held hostage.

"And we've got more attention on us." Scarlet pointed out.

Jess tipped her head to the side, "What do you mean?"

"Since you started doing more trio missions with Cho and Miles, haven't you noticed some fans?" Venom chuckled, referring to Apex's frequent team-ups with Iron Spider and Kid Arachnid, "They're really cool but also a little nuts."

Apex shrugged.

Kid Arachnid scoffed as he landed, "You gotta notice the crowds right? They love us, especially you."

"Why me?" Apex asked.

"I think that should answer your question," Iron Spider pointed up to a large television screen, and who else would be on it but the team's favorite news anchor.

"New hero Apex Preadtor, or Apex for short, has been nothing less than a smashing success with New Yorkers ever since the help of placing a child with an adoptive family, and its hard to disagree with the fanfare! Look at this footage taken by a roving reporter on the scene." A recording of Jess carrying a child to safety flash across the screen before jumping into a fight was shown, and nobody could deny its impressivness.

Apex look embarrassed, "Guys I'm sorry about that, I didn't mean to show off."

Spider-man waved away the notion, "Eh, its cool, you don't control the news. Besides, J.Jonah Jerk-face is finally saying something positive."

"In fact, I can't think of a thing wrong with her except the fact that she runs around with those web-slinging menaces!"

"Aaaaand there it is," Kid Arachnid nodded.

"Um, guys?" Iron Spider prompted, "We've got fans."

The team turned to see a large group of young people approaching them, holding up signs and shouting praise.

"We love you Spidey!"

"Marry me Venom!"

"Scarlet Spider is way hot!"

"Iron Spider, fly around, do a loop!"

"Kid Arachnid is clearly the best!"

While the boys did get plenty of praise, turning to wave, the focus had definitely shifted to Apex.

"Apex, we love you!"

"Apex show us your swords again!"

"Step on me Apex!"

"I want Apex to hit me with her shield!"

Jess flet lucky to have her mouth guard, her face was burning. She gave a shy, friendly wave, which only encouraged the fans.

"Apex, you're so gorgeous!"

"Marry me Apex!"

"No! Marry me! Marry me Apex!"

"Come on Broadway, we gotta get back," Scarlet nodded for Apex to follow him back into the jet.

"Wait, wait!" The little kid that Jess had saved ran over and handed her a daisy, "Thank you for saving me!"

Apex covered her heart, taking out her phone and taking a picture with the child. She tucked the daisy behind her ear."You're welcome, bye!" Apex hurriedly got onto the jet, greeted by Iron Spider.
