Hinata's POV
I'll admit I was nervous when Kageyama mentioned the idea of little space. I'd heard of it before but I dismissed the idea pretty quickly. Whatever he was going through must be intense or dangerous to him if he suggested little space. But I'm hoping it'll be like taking care of Natsu when she was little. I was pretty good with kids as it was. I just hope this isn't much different.

After I said yes to Kageyama's idea he went quiet and just nuzzled into me. Not knowing what else to do I hugged him tightly, gently running my fingers through his hair the way he liked it.
"Daddy?...." I almost choked on my spit. I didn't remember this!
"A-are you talking to me?-" I asked nervously, looking down at the suprisingly innocent blueberry nestled in my embrace as he looked up to me.

"C-can mes not call chu dat?..." his eyes looked so sad but I could see his fear behind the facade.
"Yeah of course. S-sorry I just.... just a little taken aback is all." I wanted to make this as simple as possible for him. After all, it is an escape method for stress.

Kageyama nodded and nuzzled closer to me. "Can mes have milk?" He asked. Thankfully, Shinryaku had forced me to stop to get some on the way back to the room after the quite literally dragged me out the gym.
"Sure. Here little one." I said calmly, passing the carton over to him.
I saw him smile at the name which made me happy as he managed to unwrap the straw and stick it into his drink before sipping from it.

I kept my fingers in his hair, wanting to change out of the kit I was wearing but I stayed put. Right now, Kageyama was more important.
Though he was kinda cute like this. I won't lie. I never though I'd ever see the day where Kageyama calls me 'daddy' and talks baby and now I'm experiencing it in one day. Though it's just- in a different sense to what I envisioned....

But that doesn't matter! By now, Kageyama was silently drinking his milk and staring out at the ever slowly darkening sky.

We had several hours before our team returned back from the gym. I finally worked up the strength to ask though- "Do you mind if I change into my pajamas too baby?"

Kageyama looked to me again, the straw still in his mouth. I had to hold back a squeal. He looked so babie and absolutely adorable like this.
"Mhm-" he mumbled as he slowly sat up, still slowly sipping from his straw.

With permission,  I stood and grabbed my pajamas, quickly slipping into them before going back to cuddle Kageyama.

When he finished his milk, he turned to me and nuzzled into my chest. "Cold-" he mumbled, still in his little voice.
So I lay down with him, covering the both of us up with the futon covers and letting Shinryaku walk over.

Kageyama turned so his back was facing me and he wrapped his arms around Shinryaku instead, nuzzling into her fur making him giggle.
"Heh~ so warm and fluffy!~"
I bit my lip to hold my squeal in once again as I let Itazura free from her confines - smiling when she nestled at the bottom of the futon behind my legs.

Fairly soon I heard light snoring. Looking down I saw Kageyama passed out and cuddling with his companion making me smile. Hopefully he'd get a good few hours before everyone returned. Thankfully there was only two other people left to return to this room.
So, with the few hours we had left, I drifted into a light sleep, hugging Kageyama from behind with a gentle smile on my lips.

~Time Skip~

I woke up about five hours later to the sound of Itazura's soft coos near my ear. Moving an arm I gently pet her before yawning.
Opening my eyes I saw Kageyama still asleep in the same position I left him in - curled up in front of me with his face and hands buried in Shinryaku's fur.

I only looked up hearing the sound of the door opening. I saw Tsukkishima and Yamaguchi walk in, dressed in their pajamas and their hairs slightly damp. It was clear they'd just come back from the wash room.

"So how is our precious king of the court?~" Tsukkishima asked in a mock tone that made me scowl.
"Would you back off Tsukkishima. He's going through enough shit as it is. He doesn't need your torments being added." I growled quietly so as not to wake up my sleeping setter.

"No I was being serious. A companion doesn't act the way Shinryaku did unless it was some dire situation." Tsukkishima said actually in a serious tone now as he walked over and kneeled next to me.

"Oh so you can be soft and caring. How surprising for the salty beanstalk." I spoke sarcastically.
"Shut your mouth shrimp."
"Well anyway he's fine. I'm not entirely sure what's wrong he won't tell me. But I'm helping as best as I can until he does talk to me." I answered looking the blonde beanpole in the eye.

"Well I might have an idea. But you won't like it."
"Well tell me. I need to know."
"He's... shall we say, a border line Yandere-"
"I don't get it-"
"Well he only went south after your interaction with Inarizaki's captain."
"You mean Tsumu?" I asked raising an eyebrow.
"Yes him. He got jealous way to quickly and after last year he'll be panicking that you're replacing him." Tsukkishima explained.
I looked down to the still sleeping blueberry, my hand in his hair.
"No that can't be right surely..."
"You have a huge harem Shrimp don't you use it?"
I shook my head.
"Kozume. Kuroo. Bokuto. The Miya twins. Ushijima. Semi. Sakusa. Hoshiumi. Need I go on?"
"No- but I see your point now...." I mumbled, still looking at Kageyama. "But don't Yandere's kill the competitions?"

"That's why I said borderline. He's killed before - accident or not he's done it. Which means it's probably only a matter of time before his actions start to make him insane-"

I couldn't believe my ears.
"No! I don't believe you!" I cried, clutching Kageyama closer to my body, accidentally waking him up.
"Believe what you wish but it's rare I'm wrong."
Tsukkishima said before he stood and went to his own futon with Yamaguchi.

"What was that about?" Kageyama asked now big once more evidenced by his deeper voice.
"Ah... nothing important. It's fine-"

But was it really fine?.... I damn well hoped so....
