Kageyama's POV
The match finally started, and Karasuno started off well. We had our set rhythms and our flawless combat moves ticking away throughout the game. Of course Itachiyama's reputation didn't falter. They were still as crazy as ever not to mention relentless with their defenses. Hinata and I's quick attack was only getting through half of the time. Their blockers were tricky to shake off but we did manage a fair few times. With the first set raging forward with point after point being won with neither team gaining an advantage, I wanted to get desperate but I kept my cool. I kept my mind open and caught sight of the former team members on the front row of the crowd alongside Natsu, Saeko, the taiko drumming group and the entirety of Karasuno High school students cheering from the stands. We could pull through this.

"Alright team! Let's get our heads in the game!" I yelled positively, now at the back of the court and in position to receive.
The ball barreled closer and closer. It was clear Itachiyama's server had misplaced his aim and I was easy to dig it up. I wasn't worried at the fact I'd received. I'm a setter sure but as I mentioned. We had new weapons up our sleeves. The score was 15-16 to us and I rushed forward, preparing to spike.

You see, Malo and I had been working on the technique Nishinoya and Asahi used to pull off. Hinata was off the court and Tsukkishima and Malo on so this was what we had to do.
Following the ball with my eyes I saw it being cleaning set up by Malo after he'd jumped from behind the line and I jumped high, spiking it hard on the opposite court's floor and finally gaining the advantage Karasuno needed.

With the point changing, the team and crowed cheered and I smirked. Seeing Hinata's proud smile from his post on the sidelines made me grin.
"Alright! One more point!" I shouted.
"Yeah!" The team shouted back, now back in position and I grabbed the ball ready to serve.

Spinning it between my fingers, I caught sight of Oikawa in the stands. Despite his disguise he was easy to notice. Sending him a cheeky smirk as the whistle blew, I launched the ball high in the air, running and jumping after it with perfection, landing a solid no-touch service ace that made the team and crowds cheer.
Hinata's cheer rang the clearest in my ears. Looking over to him, I grinned, giving him a thumbs up.
15-18 and counting. Let's get another.
Grabbing the ball once again, I took a deep breath feeling my fingers tingling as I repeated my previous actions, gaining yet another service ace. We could win this first set. And then the next set. We could do this. We could win the finals. The entire tournament will be ours.

So with that goal in mind, I repeated my previous action once more, grunting in frustration with Itachiyama managed to dig it up cleaning.

The first set was rough but we eventually won it 24-26. Just two more sets to take this entire game.
"Oi! Bakayama!" I froze and turned to see Hinata grinning devilishly at me.
"What Boke?" I asked, after swallowing the mouthful of water I had.
"You're not getting ahead of yourself are you?~" he teased, gently flicking my nose.
I growled at him.
"Of course not! Now let's get going~ The second set is ours~"

With that each team went back onto the court and the scoreboard was reset.
Rikiya was up to serve. His aim had improved so much over the year and it made me proud.
Now stood at the front of the court. I listened to the squeak of his shoes and the hard whack of his hand connecting to the ball. I smirked suddenly seeing the ball lightly bouncing by the wall on the other side of the court.
The entirety of Itachiyama's team looked completely dumbfounded.
"Haha! I got this now!" Rikiya yelled from the back of the court, now receiving another ball after the cheering died down and Karasuno gained their first point of set two.

"One more point Kiya!" I shouted, still facing the opposing team.
"Aye aye captain!"
I heard Hinata snicker beside me but it just made me smirk as I heard the squeak and whack once more, the ball once again connecting hard with the opposing team's floor.

"ALRIGHT! THATS MY KOUHAI CAPTAIN!" I jumped, looking to the stands to see Sugawara jumping with glee. "Ah my little baby crows have grown so much Daichi!"
I heard the former players laugh and chuckle with each other and I could tell from here that the entirety of the third years' morals had gone up.

"Again Kiya!" I shouted in encouragement.
This time a rally finally began and Itachiyama got their first point.

As the second set continued, we revealed all of our weapons except one. We had to save it for emergencies only. This was simply because Itachiyama's second and third years had seen our super quick before. Meaning it's likely they'll have come up with a plan to combat it.

The best chance Hinata and I had of using it is when they aren't expecting it. There's no point rushing things. I could tell Natsu was itching to see it but right now wasn't the time. Even though Itachiyama was a set point with 24-23.

Their libero was good and definitely followed in the footsteps of Komori. Agile and lethal all at the same time.
But that wasn't going to stop Karasuno. Not at all.

However as predicted, Itachiyama stole the setback and won set two.
They'd gotten into their groove now so the next so the next few sets were to be interesting and on a higher level of difficultly than the previous two.

Gathering the team in the sidelines during the small gap we had between the sets, I lay my thoughts down as Ukai observed.
"Alright guys we're going great out there. But in the next set we need to start changing things up a little and busting out the big guns." I explained.
Hinata gasped and I saw his eyes sparkling. "The super quick?!"
"Eeyup. Bout time we used it again."
I saw the first years when us skeptically. As promised, Hinata and I never practiced the super quick in front of others. We were only to do it in real matches.
Ukai stepped forward, his familiar devil smirk on his lips.

"That's right boys. Time to watch your upperclassmen unlock their full wraths~"
