Hinata's POV
Me along with the rest of the second and third year turned our heads to the gym's entrance at the sound of the voice.
There stood a really tall male with light blue hair and soft features. "Yikes you're a tall! How tall are you man?!" Nishinoya yelled - the first one to talk out of all of us.

The male stepped into the gym hesitantly and scratched the back of his neck. "I-I'm six foot six..." he replied shyly.
Ennoshita steppes forward towards the first year, holding three sheets of paper. "You just be Rikiya Kiojin correct?"

"Ah- y-yes sir." The male - Kiyojin replied as he bowed slightly. "Six, six huh? Sounds interesting. You're the first out of the three applicants to apply." Ennoshita said, his 'captain voice' as we liked to call it, starting to show.

"Hurry up! We'll be late!" A sudden voice yelled from the door before a ginger haired male followed by a purple haired male entered the gym. The two stayed by the gym's entrance panting heavily and wiping sweat from their foreheads. "I-I told you we shouldn't have s-stopped for origini." The purple haired male panted before standing up straight, much smaller than the ginger male once he stood straight himself.

Ennoshita walked over to the two as Kiyojin walked over to talk to the second years. "You're on time luckily." He turned to the ginger Male first. "Hikari Kagayaku I assume?"
"Yes captain!" The ginger Male, Kagayaku answered confidently.
Ennoshita then turned to the purple haired male. "Kitani Malo?"
"Yes captain." The purple haired male - Malo - answered in a more laid back tone.

"How perfect. Now the three newbies are here, let's do a three on three game to see where you stand." Ennoshita said.

"Oh let me play!!" I suddenly yelled, hearing Ennoshita's plan.

"You were going to Hinata. Relax." He replied making he jump high with giddiness.

"Woah!! How'd you jump that high?!" Hikari asked in awe when I landed back on my feet.
I grinned as I looked up at him. "My speciality."

Ennoshita's whistle snapped us back to attention. "First years, you're on one team. Kiyojin you're the spiker, Kagayaku, setter and Malo, receiver."

"Yes captain!" The three yelled in unison before going to their side of the court.

"Kageyama! Hinata! Over here with me." Ennoshita ordered, now on the other side of the court.

I bounced over alongside Kageyama before getting into position, licking my top lip with anticipation. The other second and third years stayed on the edge of the court and Yachi was by the net ready to referee.

"Ah brings back memories!" I yelled remembering the three on three me and Kags had to do at the start of our first year.

I was expecting Kageyama to hum or do something to agree with me, but he remained silent, staring at the new first years in the other side of the net.
I shook my head, bringing myself back to the game. The first years were up to serve and the six, six guy was up to serve.

At the blow of the whistle, Kiyojin threw the ball in the air and ran before jumping, hitting the ball hard with his jump serve. His smug grin was short lived when Ennoshita cleanly dug up the ball, sending it straight to Kageyama. I was already in the air, high above the net when he set it to me. I took note of Kagayaku attempting to block me but I hit the ball so hard, it went straight past him and ricocheted off the floor. Landing on my feet, my entire body tingled with excitement as I looked at the utter confusion in the first years faces.

"WOAH!! THAT WAS AWESOME!!" Kagayaku yelled turning back to me and Kageyama with glistening eyes. "How'd you do that Senpais?!" I froze and blushed before turning to Kageyama.
"I told you! I told you we'd get called that! That's so weird-" I giggled, the weirdest grin on my face right now.

"You've spent way too much time with Noya-Senpai." Kageyama said nonchalantly.

"Oh don't act like it didn't feel weird for you too Tobio!"

"I guess-" Kageyama started before he was cut off.

"Wait Tobio? As in Tobio Kageyama?! The King of the Court?!" Kiyojin said, now by the net.

"Yes-" Kageyama simply replied before turning his back on the net to go and take off his jumper. His face looked distant and pale. His eyes looked torn and it made me worry even more. My usual giddy self faded slightly as I watched my boyfriend return slowly to his position on the court, ready to continue.

It was his turn to serve too. The first years got back into their positions, now focused once again on the game at hand. I waited by the net, hands placed behind my head just in case as Yachi blew the whistle.
The 'whack!' that followed shortly after the whistle made it clear he'd done his jump serve and I finally removed my hands as Malo managed to dig up the ball.

"Ah shit, it's short!" He yelled. I was a little surprised as I watched Kagayaku move similarly to Kageyama and set the ball to Kiyojin. Being six foot six, he was able to clear jump way above mine and Kageyama's block and spiked the ball hard. It bounced off the floor just before Ennoshita could reach it.
"Damn- guess they don't called you the 'Power Giant' for nothing." Narita said from the side of the court.

"Excuse me?" Malo asked confused, tilting his head as he looked at the tallest first year.
"My name, Rikiya Kiojin means 'power giant'." He simply explained.

I couldn't help but fanboy. "That's an amazing name! It suits you perfectly!" I half yelled in excitement.

"That's a real compliment coming from you. The future Tiny Giant." Kiyojin said making me blush a little.

"Oh stop it!" I giggled.
"Yes please, stop it." Tobio suddenly butt in with a cold tone.

"That's rude Bakayama! You should be nice to your Kouhais." I replied making him shrug.

"Get your head in the game. It's not over." His words made me freeze.

"Right-"

The six of us finally got back into the game and of course, Ennoshita, Kageyama and I won the first set - 25:18. It honestly surprised me that the first years managed to get that many points. But in all honesty I think most of them were made because of the six foot six guy and his spike going above the block.

The second set went ahead and the rallies were much longer but ultimately, the first years lost. But that didn't change anything. It was clear to all of us they would  prove to be major assets to the team in due time.

"You got them Yachi?" Ennoshita called as Yachi walked in carrying a box. "They're here. They should fit." With that she out the box down and opened it, the first years watching with curious eyes before gasping and smiling seeing their very own Karasuno jackets.

Once they put them on, me along kerb the rest of the team put our own jackets on.
