Chapter 25: Rumor Has It
Alex's POV...
I was still in a foul mood since yesterday. Andrew stood me up. He never did for the past month we've known each other.
Of course, our first meeting was an exemption. This time, it's unbelievably insane and hell.
Crap! I can't calm my nerves and myself. I am really furious at him.
He already apologized and told me hi s excuse. An emergency came up and he's caught in between so he needs to fix whatever the emergency was.
Damn it. He could've called or texted me right away, right? How stupid and careless of him to make me wait at the looby like a fool.
Nagmukha akong tanga sa lahat ng tao doon, lalo na sa mga receptionists. Ako na lang kasi ang hindi pa umalis sa lounge area ng lobby.
I feel like strangling him. I've never felt this kind of anger before. Ngayon lang talaga ako nagalit nang ganito.
I have to calm down. Kailangan kong maging kalmado. Nag-sorry na naman siya.
Sinuhulan na nga ako ng white roses at chocolates e.
Pero hindi, galit pa rin ako magpahanggang ngayon. Galit na galit.
My phone rang. The ringtone was a noise to my ears.
Sino naman kaya ito? When I took it, I smiled a little. Si Bree. Sigurado magkukwento ito tungkol sa kanila ni Ric.
Lokaret ito e. Kilig na kilig sa lalaking yun.
"Hello Ms. Hernandez," I answered.
"Hello Mrs. Yoshinori," she teased me.
Hell. By the mere mention of that bastard, it made my blood boils even more.
"Drop the surname Bree. What is it? If it's about Ric, I would love to hear it para naman gumaan ang loob ko," I said to her.
Masama din ang loob ko. Ang sakit nga din ng ulo ko e. Nagsuka pa nga ako kanina after kong kumain.
Stress na naman ako. Sayang lang ang kinain ko kanina.
"Oh, what happened Alex? Are you upset about the news?" she asked worriedly.
News? Huh? Ano namang pinagsasabi niya?
"What news?" I asked.
"Ahmm..tell me first what made you so upset. Then I'll think of it if I'll tell you about the news," she said.
