Chapter 14: A Whole New World
Alex's POV..
We landed at Chek Lap Kok airport in Hong Kong and headed to Four Seasons Hotel to check in and rest for awhile.
It's almost lunch time so we decided to eat at one of the three restaurants in this hotel, the Lung King Heen restaurants.
With its name known in english as View of the dragon, it offers various authentic Cantonese seafood and dim sum cuisines.
We ordered Bird’s Nest Soup with Seafood and Bamboo Piths and lobster.
The soup was great and the lobster was sumptous and mouth-watering. Its meat melts in my mouth.
We just ate in silence. We're reserving our energy for the 4-day sight-seeing at Hong Kong.
Well, I don't have to forget that we're going to marry at a certain licensed church here.
We're accompanied by two witnesses, his assistant and his wife.
After lunch, we headed to this certain church and then in an instant, we're now Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Yoshinori.
We kissed. A long and simple kiss. Hindi torrid, nakakahiya sa mga witness at sa authority official ng Hong Kong.
Mrs. Alexandria Olchondra-Yoshinori na ako. Wala man kaming isang buwang magkakilala pero kasal na kami ngayon.
I'm partly happy, because I was married to a guy I knew won't hurt me. But I'm still in doubt if I did the right decision to be married here in Hong Kong.
He tugged my hand and pulled me to follow him. We mounted on the Lexus he rented at the hotel and went to a high towering structure.
"Why are we here, babe?" I asked.
"I just have something to settle. May pipirmahan lang akong isang kontrata. Sandali lang ito, pirma ko na lang ang kailangan. You can wander around but don't go further, baka pati ako mawala, okay pretty babe?" he said worriedly.
I just smiled at him and then he released my hand. Umalis na siya.
I just stared at the whole interior of the building. Okay lang, nothing special but the whole thing smells green money.
Halata namang green paper ang dumadaloy sa gusaling ito. Well, one day magiging ganito din ang sa Pilipinas. Hihigitan pa natin ang lahat ng nasa First World.
After his business deal, we mounted again inside the Lexus and went to another place.
