"Your son has come home." L says in his usual monotone voice.
Light Yagami, he always seems too perfect. Comes home, studies, and does the same thing over and over. He pulls out a magazine.
"Oh Light..." Mr. Yagami sighs.
I chuckle quietly,
"This is perfectly normal for a 17-year old kid." L concludes.
(Time skip)
L has all of us sit down, and he sits in his usual position, his legs up to his chest. Kind of weird, but who am I to judge?
"After looking through the surveillance multiple times. I have come to a conclusion. All of this, reveals nothing."
He looks disappointed and I begin to worry, wait, why am I worrying about him? I wasn't worried about the others... No, no personal feelings involved Y/N.
Mr. Yagami sighs.
"Now, don't take this the wrong way, but I meant that this didn't reveal anything due to the cameras and wiretaps." L says.
"So you're still suspicious of my son!?"
"Like I said, there's a 5 percent chance."
"Now, Asuki, I'd like you to come with me, we're going to school." L looks to me.
I really did not like being the centre of attention right now.
"O-okay."
Watari drives us to the exam centre, as that's how we get in. I'm sure I'll pass. For some reason, I'm really comfortable with L, am I developing feelings for him? Either way, I can't let them get in the way of the case.
"R-Ryuzaki.."
"Yes?" He glances at me.
"O-oh, nothing."
"What is it? I can tell you're lying."
I blush hard, and try not to let him see, he notices and smiles.
"No r-really, it's nothing."
I can feel him coming closer to me, the heat makes me extremely uncomfortable.
"Whatever it is, I can get it out of you Y/N." He says with a serious look.
This guy is good, I sigh and began.
"It's just that I, uhm.. I feel really comfortable around you."
The words slip out of my mouth, and I realize what I have done. I begin sweating, my face heats up, I begin to fidget with my fingers. He notices that I'm stressing myself out, and grabs my pinkie.
"Don't worry. Actually, I'm glad that your comfortable. It's nice to see that you're opening up."
I give him a quick smile, and look out the window.
"Oh, we're here."
