I don't know how long I've been in here for, a few days maybe? I hadn't been spoken to at all, all my meals were delivered by Watari, and he just gave me a smile every time. I count back the amount of meals I've been given, 9. Three days, it's been.
"Y/N?" I gasped. It's L.
"Ryuzaki!"
"There's no need to refer to me as Ryuzaki while you're in here, I'm the only one who can talk to you, as well as hear you." His voice makes the whole thing worth it.
"Alright, Lawliet. So have any criminals been killed?"
"No, since Light was put in confinement no new criminals have been killed."
Good, he can't be proven innocent, this just points to Light Yagami actually being Kira.
"I'm afraid it's going to be a while before we can convict anyone, and I'm sure that means you don't want to be released until then, am I right?"
"I-I suppose you are."
"Talk soon."
I smiled, it was nice finally getting to talk to him.
-L's POV, 4 days later-
"Light, you've already been in here for a week, are you alright?"
"Yeah, I know I must look pretty bad in here but...this pride...I guess I'll have to..."
