L and I are sitting in completely different places, to avoid suspicion, but we can both see Light Yagami clearly. After another minute, we are informed to begin. This test is easy, high schools have really lowered the standard.
"Student 162! Sit properly in your chair!"
Without a doubt, that's L, I look over. Of course it is.
(Time skip)
Of course we made it in.
"And now the freshman representatives, Light Yagami, Hideki Ryuga, and Asuki Sato."
I didn't expect this, but I'll take it. Dang it, now I have to give some speech.
I can hear students chattering among themselves,
"Apparently these three got perfect scores!"
The speech is so mediocre, but I read it out.
We head to our seats, L next to Light, then I'm beside L on the other side. I can hear a small whisper,
"I want to tell you that I'm L."
What?! Is this part of his plan? Telling our prime suspect your identity?
We all meet outside,
"Light, this is Asuki, she's helping with the case."
"I'm Light Yagami! Pleased to meet you."
I smile at him, and shake his hand.
-L's POV-
I'm sure Light Yagami is Kira, and Y/N is usually quiet. And if Light is Kira, I have to protect Y/N, as he could use her for his own advantage. Why am I thinking this? The task force members said themselves they would risk their lives, but why don't I want her to risk her life?
More importantly, I need to test Light.
