It was the day we were gonna get out of here. Finally. I have been waiting for this for almost a year now. I had been in here for nine months, two weeks, and three days. I have to get this right. No mess ups. No getting caught. I might be getting crazier just sitting in this place. We were pretty sure that we were gonna get out of here. But tonight... Tonight was different. We got our things and two flashlights. Justin and I started to walk out but this screeching came over the soundboard. I couldn't stand it, it was louder than anything. "Justin!" I screamed. No reply. "Justin where are you?!" I couldn't hear anything and to add to all of that these huge bright lights opened and I couldn't see either. Next thing I know, I feel someone grab me and pull me somewhere... But my thoughts drifted away slowly. Justin... Someone...... I woke up but not inside the asylum. I was outside on this cold wet grass like it had rained the night before. The sky was dark and there were dark clouds all over. What had happened? Where am I? Where's Justin? All the sudden I heard someone faintly calling my name. I looked up and around but my head still hurts from the sirens and the bright lights. Justin appeared in front of me. I opened my mouth to scream cause he had scared me but he put his hand on my mouth and shook his head. "No no, shh. We are still close to the hospital but they can't find us. Be quiet." I looked at him and said softly but sternly, "You scared the shit outta me." He giggled and said, "I know, I could tell." I softly play pushed him and my eyes widened, "We made it!" "SHH!" Justin looked at me wildly, "Don't you remember what I said like two seconds ago?!" "Sorry" I giggled. He looks adorable when he is scared. He smiled at me, "Cute giggle." I felt myself blush and I looked at the ground. It got cold out and I started to shiver. I was trying to go to sleep but it wasn't easy. Justin looked at me and grabbed a blanket, cuddled up next to me and wrapped us both in it. I smiled, feeling his body next to mine I felt almost... Protected, as if nothing could hurt me. He looked at me and kissed me cheek, "Goodnight." My thoughts drifted again but in a good way. I smiled and felt the heaviness of sleep wash over me.
