I jump awake with tears and sweat covering every inch of my body. I haven't had a nightmare for a long time so it was really bad. I saw Edward beside me sleeping. I didn't know what triggered that. I saw the clock and it read 5:00. I knew I wouldn't able to sleep again so I just went to take a shower. I wore a cute tank top and some sweatpants. I decided not to take the infusion now because I didn't feel like it. I went down and towards the balcony and saw the sun peeking through the clouds. The black sky was turning into orange and yellow. It was extremely beautiful and pure not even a single fault was seen. How did my life turn into a happy one? I have a someone who loves me to death. I have a mom and dad figure again. I have someone to stay in this world. I am successful in my company. I have done what my parents wanted me to be or at least I think they are proud. The sun has risen to the sky. It is not peeking through the clouds anymore the sun rays were falling on me causing a soothing burn all over.
"Penny for your thoughts?" I heard a raspy deep voice
I jumped and put my hands on my heart
"Jeez... don't scare me like that"
He came near me and put his hands on my heart which was flattering like a humming birds wings.
"So what were you thinking?"
"Nothing big. Just how fast the night changes?"
"Night changes?"
"Ya...last year I was standing in this same place thinking to jump of the building..." his body tensed and his grip on my waist tightened "...but now I am thinking that how happy I am now. It's bizarre isn't it?"
"Why do you think it is bizarre?"
"Well I have no family at all, I don't deserve this, you" I said as motioned to the apartment and to him
"Hope you deserve more than this. This is nothing just because you lost everything that doesn't mean you doesn't deserve it. Look at you being strong and a successful!"
"Mmm" then my stomach grumbled.
"Wow look who calling for attention!" Edward told me
"Haha that was a first"
"Okay come on I will hook you up to the infusion and then we will eat"
"Okay" but we just stood there on the balcony. I was lost in his green eyes and he was lost in my chocolate brown one. He leaned down my lips touched his and we went with our instinct.

We ate. I was done with my infusion now time to go for work. I got into the waiting car
I was in a meeting then Elena came in
"Um Hope there is someone on the phone for you"
"Elena is it important?"
"Well the person says he is your uncle so..." she trailed
"Excuse me. " I excused myself from the meeting and went to my office.
"Hello?"
"Hello is this Hope Laughlin?"
