Chapter sixteen: Belles pov
"Be mine." Two words. That was it. Yet they held so much meaning. No longer could I flirt with other people or pig out on Friday nights eating way to much food. No longer could I spend the weekends with my friends eating more food then we probably should and gaining five pounds. No longer could I laugh at people in love. No longer could I shudder at public displays of affection. Because I was suppose to have affection. Towards him. And do lovey dovey things. Ugh.
I looked at him with worry. "Does that mean I would have to start being nice to you? Cause I don't know if I could do that!" He looked at me for a second before breaking out into fits of laughter."The-" laughter "-oonly reason.....you won't is because?"
He could not even finish his sentence he was laughing so hard. He looked attractive even when he was cackling like a hyena. Damn him. "I'm glad I amuse you." I turned away from him angrily. Whether I was angry because he was laughing at me or because he was so good looking while laughing I cannot say. I began stomping away, I stopped short when a hand gently grabbed my shoulder.
"Wait. I'm sorry Belle. I didn't mean it. I was just surprised is all." I glared at him and he shrunk back. He rubbed the back of his neck while looking at the ground with sudden interest. Still glaring I spat "What is it you want from me?" He looked up suddenly and I saw his deep blue eyes. They shone with honesty and...love? No that can't be. I gasped and he said "I just want to be with you."
