"So how is it going for all of you?" was the first thing Taehyung asked when they were all awake. Yoongi smiled lazily, sighing leisurely as Jungkook looked up, an indiscernible expression on his face.
"Got me a man," Yoongi giggled. "Cutest thing. He got insanely jealous because of what happened between the President's daughter and me. Oh, and by you, Taehyungie. Thank you for your help."
Taehyung chuckled. "I got you to thank too. I pretty much received a love confession from Seokjin. In about five days, he'll be as good as gone. I could have killed him already, but he's actually a fun one."
"It's so pitiful that Seokjin already loves you," Yoongi rolled his eyes. "Can't believe he'd fall for someone like you."
"I could say the same thing towards you, getting the President's daughter and Hoseok to become infatuated with you," Taehyung remarking snidely. "You have a way with words, baby. I could see Rose falling for you from miles away."
Yoongi shrugged. "I wouldn't be good at my job if I wasn't. Kook, sweetheart, how is it going with you?"
Jungkook flinched at Yoongi's casual tone, feeling his heart jump at the word 'sweetheart.' Slowly, he looked towards Yoongi, deflating a bit when he noticed Yoongi's relaxed expression. He scolded himself for thinking that Yoongi meant anything but casual when using a pet name, though he forced a smile on his face.
"I already know how Jimin and Namjoon are dying," Jungkook stated simply. "Namjoon is still wary of me, but Jimin? Oh, Jimin's a man that can love in so many ways than one."
Yoongi arched an eyebrow. "Does he now?"
To say Jimin knew how to love was an understatement.
Jungkook had kept most of the details under wraps from the rest of his teammates, mostly because he didn't want to jinx the progress he had made. Even through Jimin's player ways, knowing how to sugarcoat and mince words tailored explicitly for the enjoyment of his victim's ears, he had a soft spot for them. Though he broke their hearts, Jimin made it his mission to lull his victims into that fairy tale love, a love that only made them completely putty in Jimin's hands.
If Jimin weren't a businessman, he would have made a perfect candidate for Project Heartbreak.
"You're looking a little sad there, Kook," Yoongi said, somewhat in irritation. "There anything you want to tell us?"
"Jimin would have been someone useful for Project Heartbreak," Jungkook answered. "That's all. I realized it more hanging around him. Heartbreaker to heartbreaker. He would have been perfect for our organization."
If Yoongi were honest, he didn't like the way that Jungkook sounded at the words. He hadn't noticed it at first, but there was a hidden longing in those pitiful words, almost as if Jungkook could have feelings for Jimin. As if those two were living in a forbidden romance. Two heartbreakers pitted against each other, and only time could tell which one of them would fall first.
And for some strange reason, it pissed Yoongi off.
Fury enveloped him as a snake coiled around its prey. It was an unknown fury; Yoongi couldn't tell why he was feeling this way. Taehyung was quick to notice the anger broiling in Yoongi, and he immediately came in between them.
"Boys, remember the task at hand," Taehyung warned, looking at each of them pointedly. "Kook, you shouldn't be falling for the person you're meant to kill."
Jungkook scowled. "I never said I was."
"Sure sounds like it," Yoongi bit back, earning a glare from Taehyung.
