But that could no longer take the weight and the pushing the Wargs had done and the roots began to be uplifted from the ground, starting to send the tree hurtling down to hang over a high cliff but it stops after falling only slightly. Gandalf reached over and took a pine cone from the tree. He whispered and set it a light before looking to Fili and Fiona.

"Fili! Fiona!" He called throwing the flaming pine ones to them Fiona yelped at the heat and flung it to Amanda who held it in one hand easily.

Fiona watched as Amanda did not flinch as the flames, she did not need to bounce it from hand to hand like the others. But she could no even tolerate the small heat it gave off. Soon everyone had a flaming Pinecone as they launched them to the ground and wargs setting the place alight. They cheered as they beasts retreated back and Azog roared in anger. But their cheers where not long lived as the tree slowly fell over from the weight. The tree now hung out over the edge of the cliff with meters and meters below. Ori then lost his grip but manages to grab onto Dori's leg stopping him from falling.

"Aahhh! Oh! Oh no!" Ori cried as he hung off Dori's foot.

"Mister Gandalf!" Dori cried as he began to slip. But his grip quickly fails and falls down, but Gandalf swung his staff down and Dori caught it. Amanda held onto Bilbo and pushed him up onto a branch as Fiona pull him up. She then turned to Amanda and quickly pulled her up as well." Are you alright?" Fiona asked Amanda as she held her head." Dandy." She replied to her friend with a smile and nodded.

Thorin looked to Azog in complete anger and hatred as he lifted himself up on the tree. He walked past everyone hanging onto the tree with his sword drawn. Everyone watched as he steps of the tree and runs at Azog, picking up a oaken shield once more, he charges into battle. Azog leaped his warg at Thorin who tried to swing his sword at them but the warg hits him the the chest sending him to the ground. Everyone watches as he faced down this foe alone.

" Thorin!" Fiona cried as she stood up and ran towards Thorin, having lost her whip she pulled out her sword as the warg took hold of Thorin in its teeth. Fiona cried out as she ran to his aid.

" Fiona! No!" Amanda cried as she too ran at them.

" Thorin!" Fili cries out for his uncle.

"Nooo!" Balin cries as he watched Thorin be thrown down. Fiona is stopped by an Orc as her eyes became blurred with tears and due to this she could not longer see. The Orc took this as an advantage and pushed his sword into Fiona's stomach. Fiona stopped as did Amanda, the world just stopped and no sound was made apart from Fiona's gasps.

" Fiona... FIONA!" Amanda yelled as she ran even faster her rage took over her like a wild fire spreading in dry brush. She swung her twin swords as she slice the orcs beheading one or two as she went. She yelled and screamed in anger as tears fell from her eyes, slicing away at wargs and orcs quickly. But being blind and short sighted by rage she did not see the archer. Kili did and he struggled to get up so he could kill it before it got her. But it was no use. He could not pull himself up.

" Amanda! Fiona!" Kili called out but it was too late. Fiona had been pierced once again sending her to the floor, while an arrow was embedded into Amanda right shoulder. Fiona fell silent as Amanda screamed in pain, sinking to her knee. But finding courage to get to her friend, she stood up with a roar and ran slicing more orcs. Bilbo had stopped Thorin from being beheaded but now stood against a foe he may not be able to defeat. Amanda looked back and forward between the hobbit and her friends. She looked to Fiona to see her staring longingly at Thorin.

Amanda knew then and there,nth at she could on,y do one thing. Protect Fiona, which meant saving her heart. Fiona looked to Amanda and knowingly nodded to accept the action. Instead of running to Fiona, she ran to Bilbo as he stood guard over Thorin. Amanda stood in front of him barring two swords as Azog, who laughed and growled. She reached up and with pain, snapped the arrow close to the wound so it would not get in the way. Azog looked to the Orc next to him with a nod. The Orc lulled out an arrow and laced it into his bow. Amanda took this chance and ran at Azog, but was cut short when an arrow flew into her sending her onto the ground with a thud. She looked up to the sky in pain.

" NO!" Everyone cried as it arrow stuck out her heart. Amanda gasped for breath as she watched Fiona stand up and stagger over to her, Amanda shook her head.

" N..no... Go to Thorin..." She muttered Fiona smiled and nodded in thanks to her as she walked over to him. She fell to her knees as the dwarves around them fought.

" Thorin." She spoke with a silky whispered. Thorin open his eyes slightly too see his angel. He reached a weak hand up to her check and smile.

" My angel." He whispered before Fiona lay in his chest, smiling at his words.

"My King in shining armour." Fiona muttered back as they both lay there, not caring about the battle taking place. Kili ran over to Amanda who was struggling to breath. He placed a hand at the bottom of the arrow trying to stop the bleeding. His hands covered in red he looked into her dull brown eyes.

" Come on, stay with me!" He cried as he moved a strand of hair away from her face. She looked to his eyes showing just how much pain she was in.

" Kili... It... Hurts." She muttered between heavily shallow breaths. He placed a hand on her cheek to calm her down.

" I know, but you will be fine, my love." He said with tears streaming down his face. He was lying, her heart was pierced and she had only about 10 minutes to live if she is lucky. She was dying in his arms, and this was on of the most painful ways to die. He looked over to his uncle and saw Fiona laying still on Thorin's chest. They both lay as still as statues.

" Fiona? Is... Is sh..she?" She started struggling to breathe and form her words.

"Fiona is... Fine." Kili muttered looking back to his love in his arms.

"Kili!" Dwalin called as an orc Swung its sword at him. He lifted up Amanda's sword and blocked it. He gently placed Amanda down before continuing on to fight the orcs. Then the Eagles arrived, they used their wings to spread fire and talons to pick up and dropped the beast off the cliffs. The Eagles then began to pick the company off the cliff one by one.
