Untitled Part 19

The next morning, I was awakened by the sound of Lauren's singing in the shower. After the show, we'd gone to the Marriott Marquis hotel in Manhattan and just ordered more Chinese food before crashing in our rooms.

"There's never a right time to say goodbye..." I hear her raspy voice harmonize and smile to myself, strecthing before swinging my legs over the edge of the bed. That's when I realize the room is empty. Where are the others? I get up and walk over to the little desk that comes with every hotel room and see a note:

Hey we went to get the free waffles, see ya whenever they're all gone.

Love, Camilius Maximus

I shake my head and rub my eyes once again, trying to fully wake up. 

I sprawl across the bed again, grabbing my phone from the charger port and check my messages and whatnot, replying to some mentions, sommenting on pics. Taylor texted me repeatedly last night, but I was in a mood so I didn't respond. I figured now would be a good time. 

Hey, my bad wasn't feeling well last night. what's up?

I was reading a great Camren fanfiction when I felt the bed dip and I looked up.

"Hey," Lauren's voice said, smiling at me, "you okay?"

I nod, "Yeah, why?" I realized she was wearing nothing but a towel and averted my eyes back to the screen. Bruh.

"Nothing...you seemed a little off yesterday... the fans were on Twitter saying how the security guards were bugging you. Do I need to beat someone up?" she reached out and covered the screen, forcing me to look into her green eyes.

"No...you need to put on some clothing." I said, nodding towards her outfit...or lack thereof.

It would be that exact moment that the girls walked into the room, "Hoiiii little cou- Oh..."

"What, Dinah? I-" 

"LAUREN!" Ally screamed, almost dropping the food.

I laughed, "Relax mother, it isn't what it looked like."

"Or was it?" Camila said, coming in and smirking at us, waggling her eyebrows.

"It wasn't," Lauren said quickly, rolling her eyes and getting up, grabbing a pair of jeans and a shirt.

"Well then." Dinah said, laughing, "I got you some pancakes and bacon, Paige. I figured you'd like them." she said handing me a bag of food, which I graciously accepted. 

"We got you something, too, Lauren, but you might'vee already eaten..." Camila said, still smirking.

I giggled, digging into my first pancake, "I assure you, Lauren didn't have anything to eat this morning." I speak up.

"Yeah she's my little monster, I can't do that." Lauren says, laying back down next to me and I rustle her hair. 

"So guys... when's your next show?" I ask. In order for my prank to work, the timing needs to be perfect, and I'd need to stock up on supplies.

"Two days," Normani answers, looking at a small notebook, "Upstate New York. Why?"

"No reason, " I shrug, "just curious... Who's on first? You or The Vamps?"

"The Vamps. They come on with some of their music, then introduce us with Somebody to You, and that filters into our show." Camila explains, "Oh gosh darn it, I almost forgot, I have to do my Latina magazine blog entry. Today is so friggin jampacked."

I guess they saw the confused look on my face, so Lauren spoke up, "Well, we're going to take you shopping, then we have a quick photoshoot, meet with some producers, Camila's got to do her blog entry, then we've got to meet the choreographer... it's a lot."

"Awwwh, you guys don't have to take me shopping. I understand, you've got work to do. I'm cool with just watching you work, actually."

"Okay, Annie." Dinah jokes, but then she realizes what she's said, "OH MY GOSH. I didn't mean that! I'm sorry, Paige."

I shrug, and chuckle, "It's okay, I was thinking the same thing." She sends me an apologetic look and Ally comes over to hug me. She's so sweet and protective already.

"Well... you can come with us today and then we can make up for the shopping day. After all, Simon's given us his credit cards." Normani says with a mischevious look on her face. 

"Okay. I just have to take a shower first..Lauren."
