The light shining through the curtains was unbearable. I groaned, rolling over, still exhausted from the night's escapades, right into the sleeping form of Lauren. I could've sworn I put her on the other side..

"Hmm?" She groaned, still half asleep, but slowly waking up, "Merry....Hm...It's Christmas."

I watched her smile sleepily, then smiled to myself, "Do you want to get your presents?"

She opened one eye, "No... I wanna stay in bed." She husked, rubbing her other eye, "What happened, how'd you get here?"

"I took the next flight as soon as I read your texts... you don't know what happened?"

"I know Camz and I are over. And I know what you said before I went to sleep." She states bluntly. "What did I say?" I'm hoping she doesn't remember my final tidbit of important information.

"You said you loved me, too... Did you mean it?" I pause for a moment, waiting for her green eye to meet my darker ones. "Yes." I say honestly. Her face breaks into a huge smile, "Okay." She sits up, nd grabs my hand and I do the same, "Then I don't need presents, babe."

"Huh? How come?" She gets out of the bed, tugging off her pants, "First off, where is my phone? And second, because I have you."

A few hours later, after cuddling and talking in Lauren's room, we make our way downstairs, where the family has convened. Lauren's mother and Taylor were both in the kitchen, while Chris and Mike sit in front of the television.

"Good morning, Lauren!" Mika says, coming over to give her a hug. I guess they're going to gloss over last night's events.

"Hi Papa J." I say, "Hey Taylor, Miss Jauregui, Chris." I greet each family member and awkwardly stand by Lauren until she goes over to hug her mom.

"Hi, mama." She says in her baby voice, and her mom hugs her close, "Hola, mija; you know, Paige, we didn't properly thank you for helping us find Lauren last night. How would you like to spend the girls' break with our family?"

I smile, "Thank you, I'd really like that. As long as you don't mind, Lo?"

She giggles, "Course not. So you can call Ally later, but right now, come taste this arroz con leche." She holds out a spoon.
