"Hey, um, it's me, Lauren...LoLo.. I'm really sorry. Can you just...ugh! Can you pick up the phone for once? Where are you?" Beep.
The night I found out about Lauren and the Vamps, I'd managed to end up at Justin's doorstep in the pouring rain, an absolute sobbing mess.
Everything hurt, my mind was going about a mile a minute. I was surprised I hadn't crashed on the way.
He'd taken me in, cleaned me up, and we ended up at yet another party. Another night broadcast on the tabloids, this time making the front cover of a bunch of gossip magazines.

And I honestly didn't care what they wrote, because most of it was true. I spent night after night out on the town. refusing to answer calls from Simon, or any of the girls. I only talked to Milika, who tried to persuade me to get my act together. I just couldn't was my excuse every time. I needed something, anything to make me feel alive.
"Jus...," I slurred, stumbling up the stairs, "Where are my slippers?"
A sleepy Justin appeared at the top of the staircase, rubbing his eyes. The floor dipped and spun, and I sat down, looking up at him.
"You don't have any slippers, you need to go to bed." He sighed, trying to pick me up. I sagged in his arms, trying to become unmovable. I just wanted to sit there in my grief, "Gross, you smell like a 40 year old divorcee. When's the last time you actually showered?" He asked, tugging me up the stairs and into his room.
I heaved myself up onto the bed, "I dunno... hehe, you look funny."
"Thank you, you do too. Can you go to sleep? We'll try and put you back together tomorrow?" He sighed, pulling the covers over me and kissing my forehead.
"Hmm...stay with me?"
"Did you even have to ask?" He crawled over me, settling for being the big spoon. My eyelids were too heavy to even try to stay awake. I felt myself drifting off, and before I knew it I was asleep.

"She needs help, Justin! It's simple as that, she cannot continue to ruin her reputation over a stint like this." A familiar British accent yelled.
"I'm trying to help her as best I can, she can't be alone right now."
My head pounded as I tried to sit up, so I layed back down, shielding my face from the bright white light streaming through the curtains. My throat was dry and I definitely felt like throwing up, but that was out of the question right now. I had to hear the remnants of the conversation that was so obviously about me.
"And she won't be. I've hired her an assistant."
