I quickly tug on a hoodie and tie my hair up into a bun before standing in the mirror and surveying my outfit. Lauren's 'The 1975' shirt, grey joggers, a grey Victoria's secret sweatshirt (I think it's Mani's), and Lauren's Adida flip-flops with a pair of socks. I look comfy-cute, which works since we're only going to the store.I slip my phone into my shirt and go down the stairs, making sure to say goodbye to the Jaureguis on the way out."Make sure you bring back Lauren!" Chris jokes from the couch.I chuckle, "I will!"I exit the house and get in the older Latina's car, "Hi there.""Are those my clothes?" She asks, immediately.I nod and she smiles, putting the car into drive and backing out the driveway.

We pull up at a strip mall a few minutes later, after jamming out to a few carols on the radio, and head into the T-Mobile store.

I head over to the phones to play some of the demo games while Lauren goes to ask the cashier no doubt about the new iPhone 6. She comes over just as I'm beating my high score of 6 on Flappy Bird. Stupid game.

"Hey, honeybunches, how about this one?" She asks wrapping her arms around my waist and placing her chin on my shoulder, causing my bird to fly into one of the pipes. I sigh and look up, "As long as you're sending me those texts, then I'm fine." I say, my voice dropping a few octaves. I waggle my eyebrows.

"You're gross," she giggles, "I know what you're talking about. But I'll get this one." We head up to the counter, she pays the guy, and we leave.

"You know, you made me die on Flappy Bird." I say once we're driving again.

"I'm sorry, do you want me to make it up to you?" As she turns to me, my phone buzzes. I can't help but flip it and see that I have an emergency group text from Dinah and Ally. I can barely read it before I notice Lauren trying to peer over and read it as well. I flip it over and tuck it under my thigh.

"Yes, I do want you to make it up to me." I say, trying to change the subject.

"Who was that?"

"Um... Ally and Dinah. I didn't really look at it." I shrug, "Probably not important."

"What did Ally say earlier when you told her...?"

I shrug again and try to control the twitch in my legs and fingers. That's my dead give away for lying, and no doubt Lauren knows it, "She said that's nice."

"No she didn't. You jolted. She's upset?" She slams lightly on the brakes as we stop at a red light, and I can hear her sigh loudly.

"A little.. she won't say why."

"I never cheated on Camz."

"What?"

"Camila seems to think that. She probably told her." She turns to face me, "You trust me right?"

I nod, Why wouldn't I really?

Because she has a history. My mind tells me.

Why was Ally so upset?

Stop thinking so hard on it.

I shake the thoughts from my mind and instead focus back on the road, "Green light. So how are you gonna make it up to me?"

Lauren tilts her head for a second and thinks, "Hmmm... I'll do somthing special tonight. We only have a few days left in Miami together."

"Is it a surprise or can I know?" I ask, she of all people knows I hate surprises.

I get extremely anxious about surprises.

The green eyed girl chuckles, "It's a surprise, okay? So when we get home, stay upstairs until I say so."

I pout and slouch in the chair, "You're mean, but I wub you, so it's okay."

"I wub you, too, Peanut."

"Peanut?"

"Yeah, okay?"

"Okay, LoLo."
