Since Thalia knew about Percy and I, she acted like she had a secret weapon that could destroy everything. And of course because she's my sister, she's always ready to tell Dad, Jason or Piper. She hinted at it last night at dinner and I tried very hard not to murder her.
The previous night
"So Beth, do you have a boyfriend yet?"
"Um, no I prefer to be single," I replied, trying not to go red.
"Oh, really? Cuz last night I heard a male voice," she said suspiciously.
"Yeah, I was binging Dynasty last night," I said, keeping cool.
"Annabeth, I told you to stop watching that show," My Dad broke the tension.
"Sorry, but I really love it," I told him, apologetically.
"You love it like you love your boyfriend?" Thalia brought that back up.
I would like to tell you that I let it slip away but that would be a lie. I totally lost it.
"FOR THE LAST TIME! I DO. NOT HAVE A BOYFRIEND SO JUST LEAVE ME ALONE THALIA!" Then, I threw my water glass on the floor and stomped upstairs.
I haven't talked my family since last night I don't intend to for as long as I can.
