"What?"

"I can't, Beth," Piper said.

"Well, you have to," I protested.

"Okay, but I'm not talking to her," Piper gave in.

So we got in and the second Calypso noticed Piper, she asked, "Wait. You're friend is Piper McLean?"

"Yeah, why?"

"First grade. Piper stole my pencil, poked my eye with it, and ran away," Cal explained.

"What?" I asked. How did I not know about this. I've known Piper since before school. I didn't even know Cal went to our school.
"Well, actually, it's the reason, her dad made her change schools. You probably didn't know because it was the first day and you had a dentist appointment for whatever reason," Piper explained.

"Seriously?" I asked. "You guys fought over that?"

I started laughing and while Piper and Cal looked at each other, confused. Then they started laughing. And the craziest thing was that there was three teenage girls sitting in a car, in the airport parking lot, laughing their heads off and we were getting some weird looks.

We pulled away and Piper was dropped off at her house, and me at mine.

When I walked in, there was Thalia, Jason, another blonde I couldn't recognize as their back was turned towards me and a person with green hair, whose face I could see, just not recognize sitting at the table talking.

Then the four people all turned toward me. It was my cousin, Magnus, and the green haired person was his gender fluid significant other he told me about last I saw him, two years ago.

"Beth!" Magnus said, coming in for a hug.

"Magnus, you look so different. How's Boston treating you?"

"It's Boston," He said and I had to agree.

"Is you're mom here?" I asked.

"At Thalia's? No. In Malibu? Yeah. We're staying at you're dads and we just found out about your little cult and stepmom."

I honestly forgot about Heather. We moved out almost a month ago, and they got married a few days later but they didn't have a full out wedding as we and the rest of our family would not be there. See, my dad has two siblings, Natalie, his younger sister and Randolph, his older brother. Natalie, is Magnus's mom and they live alone after his dad died when he was twelve. Natalie and Fredrick have always been really close, unlike Randolph and literally anyone.

"And are you gonna introduce us to," I waved my hand in the direction on the green haired person, trying to not be rude.

"Oh this is my girlfriend Alex. Usually she identifies as female like she is right now or male occasionally."

"Hi," we said at the same time.
